I wouldn't say I'm an expert at children's programming but you guys are pretty harsh.

I'd say being an expert at children's programming doesn't mean you're an expert at quality children's shows, but also we're grown ups, so there's really no reason for us to like it.

The 8 bit music was pretty fucking lame though, right? not much effort went into it or anything

Oh yeah? Were you there when they were working on it?

It sounds at least like most of the effort went to production and sound design instead of composition, which I'd bet is zan-zan's issue with it.

It's not good. Good kids shows are written for adults and safe for kids to watch (Adventure Time, The Tick, Freakazoid all pop to mind)

Kids don't want to be talked down to by a cartoon. The smart ones at least. Also the show is geared towards little kids, which doesn't make any sense, since they were probably born into the 6th or 7th generation of consoles.

Also 2 copies of LSDJ won't add the positive points of piggy that were brought up: clean samples, filters, more channels, and distortion.

There's enough GB carts out already, I'm hoping he decides to go for like, Neo Geo AES or something next

These songs are good enough to get dropped by actual EDM dudes

i don't understand what any of you are defending

delete all the songs using the song menu?

or go into your cart programmer and click on erase or format or whatever it might be

he probably spent time learning the program and experimenting with sound, might be a good thing to try

edit: i didn't even read the thread and assumed this was about LSDJ but i think my suggestion still stands

Nintendo was pretty good about making accessories backwards compatible. Like the RF unit will work for both the NES and SNES.
