Topic: Songs Reversed (16 replies, posted in General Discussion)
So whenever I'm bored I sometimes play my songs backwards. Minus the percussion ( because it just sounds like air being sucked or something), it still sounds O.K. ( I'm not saying good, because that depends on whether you liked my music in the first place or not.) But it still is pleasing to the ear in general. So I guess what I'm getting at is, is there any reason that the song still has musical appeal even backwards or just my familiarity with the songs causing me to enjoy it since I made it?
And also have you had the same experience? As far as songs your songs still sounding decent backwards.

Boddrick, even I'm not doing 100% chip, so yeah, it's cool.
And FOD I ask that all participating artists shoot me their e-mail in a PM, and when we stop accepting artists then I'm going to send out a group e-mail with the rest of the details.

I'm going to have to say no, sorry. Trying to keep it exclusive to poke'mon.

No; no time constraint is in place yet. Just at the end of October is when people can no longer join.

Longer than a minute and a half at least I'd say, but no length maximum.
And yes, I'll put you down for Entei, and for Cubone.

I wasn't necessarily asking for a shopping list. Simply what I needed to research, because in my previous attempts to research I had nothing to go off of besides "How to Make Chipmusic". I needed a basis to expand off of, and this has been provided for me.
I will return with questions when I'm properly informed.

Ok, thanks for the list, but I still will need some explanation. Such as, what are flashable cartridges, what qualifies as big enough for a mixer, what are FX pedals, whats a drum machine, and where might I purchase a beard?
Edit: I have really fond memories of the N64, and still have one upstairs that I play from time to time. Would this be a viable platform?

I would love to mod, but as you can see, I have no idea where to start at all. Piano Roll is mainly what I am using now and some sequencer to do my drums. And synth based is more or less out of the question, because my piano skills aren't exactly up to par. I also think I want something more stationary, and because of such more flexible as far as capability.
What would fit into those categories, and what is the best way to go about procuring such hardware and how to set it all up, and how to mod it?
Edit: But I'm not closed out to trackers, mainly cause I'm ignorant to what they are and do.
