Bit late to the party with this as there have been plenty of helpful comments. You should start a new thread and call your insurance company first, or at least be more specific with what's wrong with your car. Pics?

I was going to write a bunch of stuff about how you are in fact the one who's wrong but I'll just say that the article is 10 years old and what they're talking about is very much different.

Did you create an account just to post this?

Malwarebytes and tdsskiller will remove almost everything, just run them in safe mode. Theres others that I don't remember the name of because I use them so infrequently. Reinstalling the OS is for n00bs that don't know how easy it is to get rid of 99% of malware.

You know what? Fuck it, this was the first chip music release I bought and I'm gonna buy it again. Fuck you Bit Shifter.

Glad it's working! Unfortunately, I'm not sure there will be anywhere to get 12V inside a c64 meant for an 8580 SID without some extra circuitry.

Need your advice! I found bad fuse in power supply it's 6 Am. In shop I found 4Am and 10 Am what should I insert into power supply?

If you don't want to risk ruining the chip I'd say try the 4A. 4A actually still seems a little high, I think the fuses in my PSU were 1A or 2A.

What blown fuse you find?

From what I remember it was a fuse on the 9VAC line inside the power supply.

I had the same problem and it ended up being a blown fuse so luckily an easy fix.

Edit: The serial issue might be completely different. The SID gets 9VAC from the PSU from what I remember and this wouldn't affect serial functionality.

SmashTV has the  MB6582 board set for $50 and parts kit for $136 w/PICs, so for around $300 you could case it up (depending on how much it costs to source 8 SIDs). BUT if you have never used a soldering iron, well there will be a steep learning curve. You could do a stereo MidiboxSID for allot less BTW (This is basicly what a SammicSID is)

The SmashTV parts kit doesn't include any of the front panel components which would have to be sourced by yourself, so that would be some extra time and money sourcing all those parts and actually putting the whole thing together. Then add getting a nice enclosure for it, it's really not as cheap as you might think.
