This was such an awesome time. Seriously the sweatiest show I've ever played. I was wiping sweat out of my eyes during my set. Thanks to everyone who came!

Personally I find it quite sad that there are so many threads trying to mislead people that its carrying over to legitimate attempts to grow the community such as the Blip Memorial Compilation.
Blip was great and worth commemorating, but people harassing others attempting to do so is unfair and unwelcoming. It is a poor attitude for this website and a misrepresentation of this scene.

Agree whole heartedly. The Blip Burgers and the whole space at the Bell House was great. And trudging through the snow in the street because the sidewalks weren't plowed. There was something really magical about winter Blip Fest, especially in the snow.

Je Mappelle (The J-Pop album he has posted is pretty stellar)
I've already mentioned Saskrotch, his newer stuff is even more impressive to me than the older.

Starpilot seems to be pretty rad from what I've heard on the release page.

Anyway, my favourite moment was probably being forced to crowd surf twice during 10k's set at Blip '11. Good times.
Speaking of 10k, one of my favorite moments was the awesome hardcore style singalong pile-on that I managed to be on the top of. Fucking great times.
I enjoy chip sounds,
but there is more than one sound chip in the universe.
And there are people out there that combined make music with just about every (if not every) soundchip. Seek it out for yourself if you don't want suggestions. Or if you're willing to take one, do yourself a favor and just listen to littlescale.

Think of the possibilities now that you've been freed from your shackles.
Deep respect for everyone involved with Blip Festival in all the years, and maybe even more for those who had to make this though decision. From our perspective Blip Festival had a lot of impact and is an important "centre" of the whole international scene and everything around it. It was always a great inspiration for EINDBAAS, although our crew only visited last 2 NYC editions (after EINDBAAS started). We can only dream of pulling off something even remotely close to what Blip Festival gave us. As said: there is no replacing, only new things emerging from now on. ♥
