Yeah, the .sav on my pc works fine on my emulator. The cart is USB, and the corruption pretty much just makes it so that there's a bunch of random chains with random stuff in them. I talked to nitro2k about it a while ago, and he said that the type of corruption was really hard to deal with and he couldn't really do much. But since the sav on my pc works fine on my emulator, it should be okay to load onto my cart, right?

So this may be a dumb question, but my LSDJ cart is corrupt, but I managed to get the .sav on my pc before it happened. If I were to clear the cart, then flash the data onto it from my pc, would that work? Sorry if it's a really stupid question.

Okay, so I don't know if this is just horrible luck, but I started backing up since I found the problem, but now my cart is acting all crazy. I was able to get some songs onto my pc, but now when I try to load a song, it just says loading 1/6, then 2/6, etc... until FF/6, then goes to something like 1/88, and just goes over and over. I can't deal with this. Anyone have any idea what's going?

So I asked this before, and I never got an answer, so I was just wanna check again. My cartridge one of the black ones. It's clear, and looks like a normal game cart (with a USB port on the top of course). Would this have anything to do with my problem?

it is so easy to install the driver with xp and even 7, windows 8 fucking blows, you could downgrade to xp wink or just go to a friends house as stated above with an older pc. I have an xp desktop JUST for my SAVS, roms and games though. I like to keep it off my laptop

I've tried it with 7 so many times. I tried on XP Mode on 7. I guess I'm either missing something, or...there's something wrong with my cartridge hmm. i'll just have to keep trying!

So I just tried using my sister's laptop. I was mistaken, she has Vista. But still, I tried redownloading at the files and starting from scratch. Same steps. No. Success. I'm losing it. Wtf am I doing wrong?! sad

Vista is 7 after the patches, so you're still at square one.

So now I'm lost. neutral

Okay guys, so I tried using Windows XP Mode in Windows 7. Tried signing all the files and everything just like I did before in 7. Same thing, just with an XP flavoring over it. I'm losing my mental stability here lol. Tomorrow I think I'll try to use my sister's laptop and start from scratch there. She's actually running Windows XP, so hopefully that'll help. But idk. Thanks again for all your help. smile

Anyone have any ideas they can offer me? I really need to backup my files, and this is driving me crazy! I just can't find out what's wrong!

Yeah, I got my links from a YouTube video as well. Most of the comments said they worked for them too, so it seems that that's not the problem.

So I tried redownloading everything and doing everything from scratch. Same results. sad For some reason, it seems like I just can't install the drivers no matter what.

@Hulex, I'm running Windows 7, but I had tried the "disable driver signature enforcement" thing before, and again now. Same thing. sad Thanks though dude.

also, may be a silly question, but i figure i'd better ask just in case. my LSDJ cart isn't like the black carts. it's one of the clear ones. should that affect anything?
