Heck yeah! big_smile

Thanks! I think I'm getting a little better every day. I'm really excited about what I've got in the works.

My favorites are battletoads, crystalis, faxanadu, simon's quest, super mario: world, rpg, 64 (also paper and galaxy series), saga frontier, resident evil: code veronica, great greed, nintendo world cup, nes open, kirby's adventure, mega man 2, sonic games, heavy rain, journey, and so many more.

Oh, and a new favorite lone survivor.

I guess I'm new enough here...
My name is lucas noah and I used to do fakebit stuff with fl studio, but as soon as I got my hands on LSDJ, it was love at first byte.
Been in a lot of bands and can play anything that makes sound. Not always well, but I can get something out of nearly anything.

When I show lsdj stuff to my dad, he's always impressed by how you can use tracks to make more than one sound (i.e. bass and kick) and that it's possible to do on a gameboy. My dad was kind of the hacker of his friends. He told me he hand coded the horn track for a Chicago song with a commodore to play with his bar band back in the day. He told me his guitar player was wierded out by it.
Dudes in my band, and bands we play with, get down to my stuff sometimes. Especially my drummer. My guitar player likes rapid panning with pitch drops.
Haven't shown many others. Guess I'm still in the shy phase 'cause im not that good, yet. hahaha... oh, I made myself sad.

I don't have any experience with famitracker, but as far as I can tell you're off to a great start! As ypmid said, if you keep at it you'll hone you're skills in no time. It seems like you have a lot of music in your head, so keep tracking! Great job and I can't wait to see what happens next!

Hey dudes and dudettes, Just "finished" my fifth track using LSDJ. I tried using the wave channel for bass and kick drum which let me do some melodies and pulse toms added a little reverb too. Let me know what you think!

I really like light tears and kerfuffle. Very tastefully tracked, my friend. Keep it up!

Thanks for the feedback! I'm having a hard time because I'm so used to having a sequencer for things like triplets and such. I love lsdj, but learning how not to do staright 4/4 is my hurdle. I'd love to figure out how to do some sunsoft nes style stuff down the road because who doesn't love the return of the joker or journey to silius soundtracks?

What up, yo? I posted my fourth LSDJ track and I'd like some critiquing, particularly in the beat/bass line department. I feel like I focus on the leads too much, but struggle to make the backing memorable.

Thanks, in advance, for even listening.

Posted in the music section because I don't have any idea how to properly use this forum.

Hey dudes and dudettes, I put my third lsdj track up on soundcloud called "when the snow melts." If you care to check it out, feel free to tell me all the things you do and don't like about it. I'd say it's a work in progress, but my attention span is too

Thanks!

I've been a fan of chiptunes ever since I typed load"*",8,1 and pressed return. It's the reason I'm using lsdj to write music and the reason I found this awesome community.

I guess what I'd like to say is thank you for being rad and for letting me be a part of your family.
