I have NTRQ and an nes,  so I want to be able to amplify/record/process/etc the sound coming out of the nes.

I have looked into the "stereo" mod,  and it's not something that I want to do,  really...I'd rather get the audio without having to do any mod.

Is it possible to just use a rca y-splitter cable coming out of the nes' audio jack?

One like this: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications … csho631504

... And then add a RCA cable to the other end and send it to my mixer?

I'm planning on modding my C64-C soon,  and I figured I would clean it up once I take it apart.  The plastic is very yellowed from age/smoke(?) ( I bought it used ),  so I was wondering what is the best way to clean the shell of my C64-C?

I just heard of retrobrite,  would that work well for this type of plastic?  Has anyone tried this?  Sounds sort of like a PITA (?) but worth it if it would work.

I also wonder if I would just be better off painting it,  but then I would have to paint the keys too,  which seems difficult...

Any advice???

Thanks!!!

It's one guy,  that's Lukhash... He uses LSDJ and Cynthcart for the C64,  as far as I know.

I agree about changing up the bass a little,  it gets kind of repetetive.

Needs bass

Every Roland amp I tried could not handle the loud bassy sounds coming from my Monotribes, this VOX handles loud bass like a champ!

Another BUMP:  I added a Sega Genesis and some games here:

BUMP:  i have added some cheap replacement Gameboy parts to my listings... Check out all my listings at

Not exactly chip related but I did use this amp for busking and it worked great!  Much better than the Roland mobile amps...  You could totally busk some rad chiptune with this little guy!

Ok,  i guess I could try to find a scrap c64,  i was under the impression people sold the chips alone.

Any chance you still have any 8580's?

Or know where to find one?

I might be interested,  is it easy to use?  I am used to using lsdj.  Do i need anything besides nes,  controller,  tv,  etc?

I'm looking to get a second C64 to modify,  and I'm thinking I'll get a C64-c version.  To mod it,  I would be using that link I previously posted,  so It will be easier if I am looking at the same circuit board he is using in his pictures.
