What if I wanted to sync the Lunchbeat with Nanovoice, or Nanoloop, also?

Topic: Can the Lunchbeat Groovebox be synced to a Nintendo Gameboy? (10 replies, posted in Other Hardware)
The Lunchbeat Groovebox is an awesome little 1 bit drum machine. I am wondering if it is possible to sync it with a standard Nintendo Gameboy DMG-01?
I asked the creator and he had this to say: "Luchbeat syncs to standard 5V pulse (and sends it for other machines). I don't know much about Gameboy though..."
Does anyone know how I would accomplish this? I am a DIYer, so building some sort of cable or box would be no problem.
Thanks!

Are you referring to the white silicon d-pad pad? One DMG I opened up had a white one, so I saved it for a clear case project. That DMG was also held together with phillips head screws, instead of tri-wing screws. Weird.
The buttons themselves are clear plastic, not silicon.

I guess I don't know how to link directly to the image....I'm using an iPad, does that matter?
Edit: it is kind of cumbersome to do on my iPad, butI figured it out!

i'm sorry, I still don't get it... I'm not a computer person. Are you saying I type:
?
Does it have to say png?
You'll have to be specific... I even had to google "iirc", lol, never heard that one.

Yup, it is a simple pitch mod with a photoresistor in place of the potentiometer! Phototresistors all look the same but can be very different, so I recommend getting this one: http://www.adafruit.com/products/161
I also recommend the LTC1799 module from the eBay seller named ecco3967, but it seems he doesn't have any more for sale at the moment. He may have more for sale soon though. Check here: http://www.ebay.com/usr/ecco3967?_trksi 1439.l2754
*And I tried, but still don't understand the image posting thing... I tried pasting the link (inside that string of code) from the photo on my facebook, and the photo from instagram, but neither works :(
If someone wants to pm me on that matter, that would be great! I don't want to clutter up this great thread!

I modified this Gameboy so that the clock speed is controlled by light!
Here is a link to the video that I threw together for youtube:

I'd love to post a pic, but I don't know how... Can anybody tell me? <:(
So, anyways, let me know what you think of the mod!
Thanks!

I remember playing this game as a kid and always falling into that damn pit and getting stuck there. I always assumed I just sucked at the game :(

Just wanted to say, rubbing alcohol is probably better than using water when working with electronics :)
And, always adjust the contrast right away after installing a backlight! :P

Re: Gameboy DMG Overheating After Backlight (27 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Not sure what happened, but if you place the film so that you can see through it then the image will be normal, but if you turn the screen 90 degrees and you can't see through it anymore (black) then the image will be inverted.

If you got the standard, then the extra film is for those who want to invert the screen image, yes.
