The price for nanoloop is fine, it's an earlier, now hard to get, version that features an extra voice from the cartridge amongst other features different from the current version.
Ahhh, then please pardon my ignorance.

Hey, just as a heads-up, you might want to lower the price on LSDJ, you can get a brand new usb 64m smart card (I assume that's what LSDJ is on) from kitsch for $42. Just a friendly FYI.
I do something like intro-buildup-break-bridge-buildup-break-even harder break-outtro
This is a massive generalization though, my structures are very spur of the moment.
What he said. Also, don't limit yourself to just one type of song structure, play around some!
One does not simply master LSDJ (or Nanoloop)
I would suggest talking to http://chipmusic.org/pianogameboy
I can see it now "Up next is nameless, with his new hit-single 'untitled'"
or you could always try "Brodizzle"
I am going through a name change right now and don't know what to do. I'm working on my first real album and don't want to be nameless for it's release. I've used many names in the past and haven't really liked any of them. I don't know what makes a good name. I just wanted to hear what you guys had to say.
Hey, you said a word that could be a pretty cool name: "nameless"
You have grounded to right channel by mistake. This happened to me. When you close the system it probably pushes the connection together, and when you open it, the audio is no longer grounded. Mame sure you shrink tube your wires!
Thanks for the info man, it turned out the right RCA jack was grounded against the LCD PCB. Just had to turn it about 45° and now everything works like a charm!

This just happens when the ribbon cable is inserted, not even when the two halves are screwed together, but ill double check to make sure! Could it be a faulty prosound install? Thanks!
Alright, so I made the following changes to my game boy:
RGBx3 backlight & RGB buttons hooked up to RGB switches,
Variable clock v4,
and an attempted RCA prosound. (Currently not working)
When the ribbon cable is unplugged from the back PCB I get audio out of both left and right of the the 1/8 inch stock headphone jack, (like so)
but when I plug in the ribbon cable the right audio cuts out completely. (again, like so)
any help/suggestions would be much appreciated.
Here are some photos of said game boy because it still looks cool!
Welp, Its that time of year again, where we as Americans focus on Christmas, instead of focusing on thanksgiving, and true to that form I have done that, and completely overlooked thanksgiving in my musical efforts and set my sights squarely on Christmas!
All that to say, sorry I made a Christmas release instead of a Thanksgiving album, but I really liked some of the songs I covered. I intend to do a Thanksgiving album next year!
All album downloads include the LSDJ sav file!
Those are some sweet jams man! Great Job!
I really enjoyed writing Numba one Jam
