Yeah this is an easy solution but kind of annoying fix, because you have to use a hot soldering iron and reconnect the bottom ribbon cable wires by running the iron across and getting it hot enough that it doesn't actually melt the ribbon cable.

Not sure if this is what your looking for, but there's an artist by the name of Stagediver that sounds pretty dark kinda heavy but overall great.

I try to make some dark, melancholic type of music if you have the time to check that out as well.

I was literally just playing Metroid II when i saw this... The game kinda scared me when I was a kid. I now know why, it gives a great dark and eerie atmosphere. Anyways thanks it was a good read now time to get back to it I'm at 11.

I haven't had any problems on windows 8 yet. I have loaded roms and transferred sav files.
