I recently got into this whole LSDj/Chiptune thing... and by recently, I mean January 26th.
Anyway, I'm a master of voiding warranties, and have no fear of cracking things open to see how they work. So far I've modded two DMG's and a Commodore 64. I've spent a considerable amount of today building another DMG... kinda. It's a little nuts, and WAY over the top for only my third Gameboy build, and I'll post my build pics as soon as I'm a little further along (just in case it doesn't work, and I end up looking like a dumbass).

For now, I'll show off  the projects that are responsible for my most recent solder burns.

...and the Cynthcart that didn't work

I'm just having fun learning all of the mods, and I find building things to be deeply satisfying.
I haven't bought anything yet. As of right now, I'm just working with spares and parts from my collection.

Tiz a Dongle, son... I didn't have any panel mount 1/4" jacks, so this what I ended up with.

Yup!

12. Thread titles should describe the topic of the thread. Please avoid titles like "Help!" or "Have you seen this...". Something like "How can I do a beefy bassdrum with Midines?" or "I just saw a chip music reference at the bus stop" is good. Staff reserves the right to edit unclear thread titles to something more descriptive.

I appreciate the clarification.
I will make sure to read the forum rules a little more thoroughly.
