(I wasn't sure if I should post this is general discussion or in the hardware thread)

I have done a bit of research seeking a simple Hardware sequencer that I could program and use for my drum and additional effects for my music.
I don't want to but anything like nI Maschine or anything like that.
I really just want something very basic that I could maybe drag my samples on my usb?
bpm control (digital)
and maybe 4 channels
for like the snare sample, bass sample, hi hat and a pulse channel.

Does anyone know where I could buy a simple one like this, or perhaps how to build one?
Thank you Chipmusic, 4BitPalace

Piggy Tracker on PSP would fill all your needs with plenty of room to grow.

Egr you gave me a great answer. I have piggy on my psp, never thought of using it that way though, I will give it a try, matter of fact that'll most likely save me tons of time and effort. smile Day has been made!

Piggy is probably your best choice.
Nanoloop Mobile also works well as a drum machine, up to six channels. You also get the flexibility if you'd like in writing with the program's instruments.

Piggy is easy and versatile, and maybe one day I'll go back to it.  but for now, it's tone matrix music and, hopefully soon, a Tenori-On white.
