OK, loaded and boots but I have no idea what should be happening next. I've been mashing buttons and it does nothing and then just crashes.
Sorry bleo wait for one minute , it will run.
I will add a loading screen.
unfortunately, it does not work on my dingoo. It says something like "can't load library libasound.so.2". Any ideas how to add this library to my dingoo?
The soft only works on opendingux OS and on debian for now.
I've update the Readme which describe the keypad : https://github.com/yoyz/audio/blob/master/README.md

makes me think, i thought dingux and opendingux are the same, so i am not sure now which one i have ...
When you boot your dingoo, it will be display.
Bleo post a video on this page which show "opendingux", if it is not display, you don't have opendingux.

The user interface will be cleaned in the future, because it is not really easy to use and some stuff will be weird for you.
This Readme describe the keypad : https://github.com/yoyz/audio/blob/master/README.md
Now all of you can have a first overview of how it works and how it sound.
You need to use headphone because the sound is really low.

Cool! Downloaded and it started right up no problems. Glad you're doing a Win port of this project.
Thanks a lot egr !!!
Tell me what you like and what you hate.
Now I need feedback to improve this stuff because it can sound great but it is not clean and polished.
And I'm aware there is a lot to improve.
First thing you need to remember :
- there is three different "machine" in picoloop : picosynth, opl2 ( a dosbox adlib synth FM 2 operator ), picodrum a drum synth this machine are selectable by step on the 4 track ;
- opl2 use two ADSR for the two operator ;
- picosynth and picodrum use only the first ADSR ( so the amp ) ;
- all machine has FX : delay for the moment
- all machine has Filter : amsynth filter/biquad filter(lp/bp/hp)/no filter ;
- the LFO only work on picosynth and picodrum ;
You only have the live mode, the song mode need some IO rewrite which will come in some week.

Maybe one day it will run on Nintendo DS.
This little console has a lot of power, it run genesis rom really well.
So it should run FM chip really well too.
But it will need a lot of work and some feature should be fit because actually the program consume 10Mo of ram and DS has 2Mo IIRC.
The next platform will be PSP I think.
But first I need to clean it and do cosmetic change.
I won't be able to really test this out until I'm back from vacation but it seems great and the features are very exciting!
A new version is available i tag it 0.35 .
There is a lot of small things which are fixed, but too many to be said, but the most visible things are :
- The sound is louder, you don't need headphone anymore ;
- Now the screen is 640x480 on windows ;
- The FX delay is longer ;
- Now you can select FM or AM on the OPL2 ;
- timing delay between keypressed is better IMHO ;

Don't forget to remove the "*.pic" file in the "bank/bank0" directory.
This is my test pattern for checking features.
Some of them sound good, most of them sound bad because I change parameter which change obviously the sound...
So to begin from scratch, you can remove all the pic file, or listen to them if you are brave enough.
