Go to Pepe Rosso on Sullivan St just below Houston. That was my jam when I used to work down the street. Run by Italians making delicious food and being loud. There are only like 3 tables in the place but it's perfect. Get out of Soho and get a belgian beer at Burp Castle on East 7th st between 2nd and 3rd avenue (pricey) or go do the touristy thing and get a drink at McSorely's on the same block (not pricey). I could go on forever but most everything I would suggest would be in Brooklyn... like Barcade; 22 taps and 80s arcade games (should be perfect on a Monday).

barcade, ftw..also, pony bar...williamsburger...

Man I loved Williamsburger.

america does one thing right, and that's beer.

new glarus spotted cow was delicious, rogue, dogfish, stone, sixpoint, magic hat have not let me down once (aside from the bad tap at barcade where my chipotle ale tasted like band-aids, and i drank it anyway)also, plain flavored, shut the fuck up and go drink - july is beer month in oregon, there's no reason for you to sit here typing without drunken typos.

If one of you guys, ever comes to Belgium, well then get a Quack! It is THE best beer in the whole wide world, and I mean it. It is a tad expensive though, since only a couple o' cases are made pro year. Then again, Belgian beer in general is undefeatable. And this is coming from a German. HA!

belgian beer is delicious but i definitely cannot drink much of it. not because of the high alcohol percentage, but because they're just heavy and fill me up.

Hmm, you do have a point there! What Belgian beer was it? Sorry for going completely off topic here... I guess Belgium isn't a part of NY as of yet.

barcade is the only place where I had DECENT AMERICAN BEER. Yes, decent american beer exists. It's in barcade and comes from microbreweries. Don't bother with anything else.

Well then you sir need to be flown here to WI. I will give $100 to anyone who can find a better beer than those micro-brewed here.

You have a chance in September, you can fly me in from Atlanta tongue

belgium ISN'T a part of NY, but many places carry belgian / belgian style beers.  as far as my favorite that i've had on tap - piraat was probably the best.  the rest, i either can't remember the names or just can't remember the night.

Hahaha, I am aware that Belgium is no part of NY!! Hmm, Piraat! Have to try that one. The nights you can't remember are the good ones, right?! Harhar!
