True! All is good on 8bitpeoples. I put my favorites chiptune albums online. Check with the label tag ' 8bitpeoples' if you want. There is an audio track for each album. Enjoy!

IAYD's 8bp release is quite amazing.

Also, grab both glomag EPs.

Branch away from 8bp too, there's a lot of stuff out there elsewhere!

Yeah uh, you're just gonna have to download everything. They're all good. Two of the first ones I downloaded were Fresh Off The Chip by David Sugar (8BP060) and Power Supply by Anamanaguchi (8BP065), so those are the most memorable for me, but again, they're all good.

If you want recommendations outside of 8bp, I'd have to say MMX by Forest World, and outside of chip, Computer Malfunction by Kamei.

Well, there are the obvious ones from the "big hitters" that you should download, some of my favourite ones from the 8bp catalogue that might be less obvious to some include:

Mark DeNardo's Lion, Tiger, Bear, AY Rider's ZX Spectrum is Alive and x|k's Nestek

Outside of 8bp there are a lot of excellent releases I'd recommend too:

Best of AHX Vol.1 comprises of some legendary tunes from the likes of Pink and Geir Tjelta made on the Amiga tracker AHX, Norrin Radd released Melodia di Infinità a while ago but it still remains one of my favourite releases ever. Lastly I'd probably recommend Razor 1911's Chipdisk #4 which contains some pretty essential demoscene music.

I'll leave somebody else to mention peeR's "Dances" and JAK's "Pamplemousse" wink

i always find the "what should i download" threads a little silly as they never take into account the poster's personal tastes...so what kind of stuff do you already like? we can maybe see how it goes if people then suggest things based on your other musical tastes, since id say totally different things to people who listen to black flag vs people who listen to radiohead
