I'm waiting for the RP (correct initialism,) necktie, pocket square or lapel pin. I don't know why you guys keep making t-shirts.

I just ordered a minute ago.

And my money is good for a Blip 2008 DVD. There's demand for it, and this shows people love 2PP.

First, thanks for the support, everyone! We love you.
Second, some things need to be addressed

How long can I expect this to take to ship?  My address changes somewhere around the time this is released and I want to make sure it gets to the right place.

Direct response from Fangamer: "changing addresses is one of our most common support requests. I’d put his current address in for now and have him email [email protected] with the situation. That email handles just about everything related to customer support."

is there a way to get just the dvd and the blip fest stuff without also getting the shirt / poster / other stuff?

That's currently not an option on the this page, sorry. The shirt/poster/pins represent a lot of work from the Fangamer crew. Because they've given us such an incredible distribution platform for this film, we'd like to encourage everyone to support their products as well. If cost is your concern (we know these are tough times), you can order the DVD from FG ($15) and purchase the 3 Blip Festival commemorative releases individually (for $15 each) from our store (http://shop.indieblitz.com/2player). At $60, that's $18 less than the Blip Bundle price ($78) but you'd be paying for shipping from two different places. Once you factor that in, you're only a few bucks off from a brand new shirt and a bunch of cool extras. The choice is up to you of course...I just wanted it to be clear that the reduced price on the three Blip products in the bundle ($25 instead of $45) is the reward for giving some love to Fangamer first.

There is lots of demand for a Blip 2008 DVD and love for 2PP all around yeah, but it becomes a different story when people underhandedly/passive-aggressively ask for a NEW piece of work before the finished one even comes out.

Alex, we really appreciate you stepping up (<3) but I just wanted to clarify a few things to keep the peace. For us, it's not about people being grateful/ungrateful for our output so much as we'd like for people to respect/understand our choices in regards to how we release material with our name on it. Our original idea was to have both the Blip '08 Live Album AND a performance DVD with little-to-no overlapping on the two playlists. For our one audio engineer, that would have meant mixing nearly 60 tracks to our (and I want to try and say this as humbly as I can) high standards. Even in the face of that, we set out to give it a go.
Over time, we realized that we couldn't afford to do both in one year -- from both a financial and manpower standpoint. We had to choose. The video quality wasn't quite where we wanted it to be and we poured a ton of effort into capturing a pro audio recording (which sounded fucking awesome). At that point, the choice was obvious.
In addition to that, we wanted to do something new and stretch ourselves out creatively. Releasing an album of this scale was a challenge we wanted to have under our belts. The Blip '07 DVD was, in our minds, the best visual representation of what the festival is. Similarly, the Blip '08 live album was the best audio representation. Finally, it allowed people to experience and share Blip in a new way beyond the confines of their DVD players. We may revisit that video in the future but I can't promise that it will be any time soon. I hope that this clears things up a bit.

tl;dr = We know you guys want a Blip 08 DVD but, at the time, it made more sense for us to represent the festival with a live audio album.

Thanks again, guys!

edit = @NO CARRIER: FuckingLOL at that 50 Cent .gif. Context aside, it is incredible.
