I have made a lot of one cycle waveforms and know i'm looking for a hardware synth to use these in (that is easy to use). I use them in Sytrus right now. I would like something with analogue filters, I think...

I've gotten some suggestion but would like to hear if you got any tips.

Anything wrong using a wavetable Soundblaster sound card?

Yeah... Not the same thing... Soundblaster sound card does not do wavetable, they do sound fonts and that stuff (their marketing guy seems to like wavetables though)... I allready use them on the comp I want something more stand alone. The one cycle waveforms are on my website, do you understand? They are just oscillator shapes, what wavetables are made of... I've got some ideas what I could use but nothing that is simple and fast to get the waveforms into... I gonna get a shrutni-1 but I don't think I will get many waveforms into it...

Waldorf blofeld seems to do the trick. But seems like I can't load many waveforms into it.

You load a single bin that is a raw audio of all the 256 waveforms rendered together. I dumped this into a wave for piggytracker here:

the blofield DOES look cool:

Not analog filters though!

ooooh, so you mean monowave can do it!? THANK YOU! then monowave might be the shit, but is it analog filters, it says it's modeled after a moog filter, but can't find if it's digital or analogue.

according to this it is analog

no patch memory though! so your sequencer will have to set things up..

there si a manual here:

Spending that kind of cash you may as well skip the analog filters and go for something like the monomachine. the mkII can load osc shapes.
or the blofeld, or the nord wave, or most old samplers like akai or emu im sure can do that. But i'm biased, to me analog filters are a bit overrated.

Oh the monomachine, yeah that might be the best alternative. Actually. I don't know how much the monowave is... Cause I couldn't see anything... But the monomachine would be nice. Wouldn't like to take it with me to play live though... But nex tour I gonna bring the c64 (I think) not just the GB...
