ALRIGHT!

Im going to try to get this mastered and up sometime this weekend. If people still have tracks they want on, it can put them up whenever (even after the comps released, really), but ideally before Sat night. For simplicity's sake im thinking of hosting streaming/DL stuff on my bandcamp with an additional mediafire download link so that i dont have to pay TOO much. Unless someone has a better idea?

It would be great if we could do some joint promo for it to get some visibility; its a pretty sick comp smile Ill let yall know when it gets together

We should also put it on SoundCloud so we can all get some publicity on there as well, and throw the best tracks on Youtube with generic tags and stuff for iphones and music and iphone music.

iPhone Nanoloop Posse

STREAM IT or DOWNLOAD  --> http://tinyurl.com/iphonenanolooposse

It started out as a joke, but hey why not? In 2010, Oliver Wittchow ported his legendary chiptune sequencer 'Nanoloop' to iOS and Android with quite a few modifications / improvements, but since then it has yet to see wide utilization from artists in the scene. We put together this 'lil iPhone Nanoloop Posse to hopefully correct that! With a diverse international cast of chipmusic.org thread homies, this compilation showcases a wide range of genres, skillz and big soundz, all created with one little $2.99 app. Plz enjoy.

released 10 December 2011

Artists:
* Sylcmyk
* Br1ght Pr1mate
* Frostbyte
* Lagomorph
* DKSTR
* The Ghost Servant
* DJ Hollow Life

Mastered by James Primate
Album Art by Frostbyte

And thanks to Oliver Wittchow of course: http://nanoloop.com

I've been wondering about something and this is probably the best place to ask-
how did you all end up with your final track file?
To release my work, I've been converting the original .ogg file a thousand different ways. (not a thousand, but with vocals, at least 3 times)
Is there a way to directly record the file from the song menu to a computer?

I'm not sure what you mean but theres export-option on the "file menu" (the one on the right). That exports song as tracked to song editor.

I did my track by recording just live loop switching and then I just edited down my song from that by cutting unnecessary parts.
