Yeah. It shows that they went to Pripyat and the surrounding area, some of the (dismal) scenery porn is 1:1 like the real thing. I still like Shadow of Chernobyl best, although Call of Pripyat has a few gameplay features I miss in the original.
Also, I love how nobody reads the original post in these threads.
Couple more FPS I can recommend, classics:
DeusEx 1 (did they put that on steam yet?)
SystemShock 2 (hard to get legally)
Hexen (free I think)

Yes! GOTY edition is £5.99 at the moment and you can get it with the expansion pack for a penny under a tenner.

Sweet Home, the most hardcore NES game ever made. I've been playing it for a while now. You may want to patch the English version with LunarIPS or something, since North American censorship boards looked at it and said lolno to a Western release instantly.

yeah forgot max payne was out. i buy so many games for 50p i forget to open alot of them... i dont condone piracy but its hard to find a shop that sells legit xbox games in china. I recently have been playing 'Corpse party' on my PSP, an awesome horror rpg game, good soundtrack and that shit really makes you jump if you play in the dark w phones on ! a friend told me to check out 'dear ester'.......looks beautiful that but i dont have a graphics card for my pc..check that out http://dear-esther.com/ _____and if i did have a graphics card for pc id blatantly be playing stalker !

OK, a real fun shooter is counter strike source, I can send you the 3 day trial thing if you friend me on steam. Garry's mod is fun to mess around on if you have lan partys.
