Just put this together tonight. Not got a backlight for it yet though. The green is a fluorescent paint that is really difficult to capture in photographs; it's great irl.
Hey everyone heres another custom gameboy dmg this gameboy is a big project for me it is a arduinoboy that just needs to be program and then somehow closed up this gameboy has the following mods:
-internal arduino
-green status leds at the top of the case
-green backlight with green diffused power led
-black screen protector
-green buttons
-Two 1/8 jacks for midi in and out also mode button right next to those.
-internal prosound
and thats it might add something else but im not sure what was thinking about variable clock but i think i like how it is now.
My SC1224 just stopped working, unfortunately. I just got the ST working again (had to replace the floppy drive) and now I've got no screen. It's a 1040STF which means alternative video output is a huge pain, so I may just grab a better ST and ditch this one.
and then somehow closed up
Best of luck to you.

I feel your pain. My 1040STe has been laying naked on the workbench for a while. I've just installed a picoPSU which is cool. Still working on RGB to S-Video encoder going into S-Video to VGA converter, which strangely enough seems like the most successful way others have gotten a clean VGA output.
Well, I just built a monochrome composite output into it for now. It's not optimal but it'll have to do for now.

Nice, pretty similar to my (still incomplete) setup, Green Kitsch case, Yellow backlight (normal polarization) and yellow buttons.
I'm probably going to change buttons to clear orange and screen cover to transparent, but that might happen later this year.
