if you're just jotting down music ideas, use a voice recording app.
touch screens are garbage for writing music
voice recorder apps can cause annoyance to those around you who don't want to listen to your off-tune whiny voice humming into a microphone. Sometimes you have to strap on some headphones and load up midiseq or riff studio
+ all these teachers and student teachers i know who don't know the difference between your/you're, there/their/they're, to/too etc.
