Reiner does offer the Linux and MAc source versions for his software although I have not tested either of them.

Just spent a while trying to compile and install this software for linux. Ends up giving me some g++ error.

Semi clear red is first choice, opaque black for second.

Would love to get my hands on a Raspi, a spare DMG case, and do this.

Would be especially cool if I could compile a basic Arch shell to run the flasher software... maybe even wire this up as a means of navigating menus.

Not exactly the smartest use of money per se, but it would be neat to see a portable flasher. Just get the above things and some Lithium Ion batteries and you are basically set. There would probably even be room for a small powered mixer in there tongue And/or an arduinoboy...
