im trying to aquire a memory card with the relebant .elf file on it in order to install freemcboot on a fat ps2 with hdd.
Akira / 8gb actually sold me the ps2, along with a memory card ready to go, but I got confused and deleted the file as the ps2 recognized it as a corrupt save. (doh)

If anyone has the ability to do this, or can point in the way of someone who can (requires an already softmodded or otherwise chipped ps2 to transfer the file to a memory card) then please give me a shout, or point me in their direction. Thanks!

damn, if you ever want to sell cubase and the dongle please give me a shout!

you look pretty well set though, the OS is built in, and youve got the midi softwares and stuff. Just find the schema and mod that bad boy. Then sell me cubase if you break it! hahaaa

have fun, sorry i cant be more help!

midi input for LGPT would be amazing, you could use it as a midi sound module really nicely.
also yep multiple midi outs (though we got 16 channels so not greatly needed by so many people i wouldnt think)
multiple AUDIO outs from LGPT however (even only 4 or something) that could be routed to your audio interfaces outs, would be so unbelievably useful I would cry.

the atari does have built in ROM OS yeah,

thanks for the advice, I may just do that; I asked here first because really. if I can grab a couple of disks for a few quid, it will quickly become clear whether i will actually use the amiga and atari for musical purposes, at which point i will probably buy some more convinient SD based solution to file transfer. However, not really wanting to buy a drive or Sd solution and then immediately sell the computers!

You made a 720kb floppy? get the FB01 sound editor on there, mail it over (il pay of course) and il test it!

I thought it would be fairly easy to get someone on a forum dedicated to chipmusic to do this kind of thing. show a brother some support you chip cats!

still following with interest! any word on the trellis hardware you were working on?

anyone? looking to aqcuire a floppy of the FB01 editor and of maxYmyser for Atari ST, if anyone can accomodate such a request.
Seriously, cash for making floppies. Easy money!

i am after aegis sonix for amiga, and a few other bits and pieces. I have just bought some solution for amiga, but am still looking for atari things, such as colourspace, M, and a few midi softwares

or if anyone could point me in the direction of someone who has such an abiliy, please send them my way or me theirs! x

could anyone please please mail me some software on floppy; all public domain stuff, no infringement / piracy intended! Im hesitant to lay out a heck load of money for SD solutions, as in not sure il gel with making tracks on either machine, just yet.

And hankering for a little llamatron on amiga too! wink

Can happily pay for your floppies, your time, and the trouble.

Cheers

anyone using fb01editor by the french dude on linux?

it requires QT4 dependencioes to run. How do i do this? Do i donwload and install the huuge 1gb+ SDK just to get the dependancies?
Im running xubuntu, if that helps!

Please help!

Hey peeps,

Im a graphic designer by qualification, and an avid sound / music producer, photographer, illustrator and hobby game developer by night.

Im currently attempting to become self-employed, and so am accepting work;

Flyers, Posters, Leaflets,Illustration, Logos, Sound / Foley FX, soundtrack music, collaboration in game dev or any of the aforementioned, you name it. Give me a shout. Im sort of adequate in pixel art but really proficient in vector!

Im halfway through building a portfolio site, but Ive been uploading stuff ive been tinkering with to https://twitter.com/domugraphic
for the past month or so. These include a couple of lovely retro games; a micromachines / wipeout mash up, and a robotron / bomberman mix)
an abstract strategy board game, a few flyers / posters for music events and whatnot.

Get in touch if you need something making. My rates are flexible to suit the scale of the project.

Soz to derail slightly;

Anyone using the french guys "FB01 sound editor"? on Linux? I get a wierd crash with it on Windows, and need to install the QT4 depencies on Linux to make it work.

Can anyone tell me how to install QT4 dependancies on Linux (ubuntu derivative; xubuntu)  please?! God damn.

Or, anyone got a list of the sysex messages the fb01 actually responds to?

There is also a new editor that id missed by a chap called Midi error, which yall might want to check out, if you havent!

and check out SMPLR / SAMPLR too. that really rocks; designed perfectly for the touch interface. Less powerful that nanostudio, and certainly no DAW, but its a bad-ass sample sequencer that blows nearly everything out of the water. Its a playable recycle in your hands.

listen to the people promoting Nanostudio, it really really rocks. Its pretty much the only DAW I can get along with on iOS. Most of the best apps I find to be smaller in scope; iElectribe is an amazing drum synth, sir sampleton is a cool little casio sk in your pocket. There are plent of great synths, midi sequencers, but only Nanostudio has the DAW vibe really going on. I agree with herr_prof in that I really dislike drawing the notes out in it, but I just record them in real time using the screen or a plugged in midi device. If you jailbreak the ipod you can use midi devices on it also (camera connection kit only works on ipad, stock; get a decent midi keyboard and an audio interface plugged in and you can really nearly replace your PC)
