Yes smile

It starts with exactly this track: https://8bitoperators.bandcamp.com/trac … rk-tribute
Anyone who knows some mixes starting with that track feel free to post it here smile

I remember I was listening to it for around 2-3 years ago.

It starts out a with a chipcover of Kraftwerks - "Im the operator with a pocket calculator" and the mix is pretty intense NES-mix.
Runtime is around 20-27 minutes.

Anyone who is knowing what mix Im talking about?

Cheers

@4mat
I think I have found my problem.. It is the bass drum!
It changes the shape thru the track therefor the unexpected noise, here it clearly when I change the Sustain.

Im going to do a different setting! smile

This is insane!

A tracker in a pocket calculator!! smile

NP, you have helped me out so much already man smile

Just gonna try my best and figure out stuff with the data etc.. Open to learn about everything in this whole process.

I have converted tunes with the same instrument setup before and that worked out like a charm, so It must be something with that load, init and playadress I think.

When Im depacking the tune it says: "New track length $11b3 bytes"

Yes, Im using JCH NP20.G4/Ed 3.04 for making music.

For depacking the project file I use the Newplayer Tool by Crescent.

Then at last the Sidedit tool for converting to .SID

It has worked out before with the help of your first post but this tune I got now is going wrong. The tune is there but you can hear som enoying glitch sound thru the track that is not there when u play it in the tracker.

Heya!

Need some help with understanding the superslide table in JCH, I thought maybe you can help me out here! smile
Have read the Manual by Frantic but there is still some questions.

So here it goes

00 00

Two bytes:

First nibble: $0 for slide up, $2 slide down and $6 for vibrato correct?
Second nibble: (If slide is active then $J) $J is for I can put whatever value I want here is that right? And if vibrato is active then 1-F for vibrato feeling.

Second Byte is just speed controls and vibrato width?

Can't se what those $k means, can u understand it?

Yeah, yeah... that's what they all say! Once you have that SD interface, you'll be loading everything you can get your hands on onto it big_smile

OK You got me! haha

Load everything I can will block my creative side I know that.

How many things can be loaded there anyway?

Space must be huge!

Wow, really some great stuff!

For now I think SD2IEC would fit me perfect for my needs.

I just wanna run one program on the c64 without having a big beast as a disk drive and lots of floppies smile

Thanks

Hello friends!

Iam working on a nice C64 setup ATM and wanna have your opinions on what diskdrive you recommend?

The old one is too big for my apartment.

I got the Old Commodore 4 model btw smile

Okey, now I feel weird to be the only one who post in my own started thread haha!

But! Just wanna share that the NP Tools by Crescent works like a charm. Really super straightforward program depacking tunes made in JCHs Newplayers with a puch of a  button.

Hello! smile

Im trying to pack my very first JCH tune and the player says its not a proper newplayer file when I press return on the packer file

I have all info about the packer from JCH and Frantics manuals but how do I start the packer? Or is it another way to pack the file?
