Don't be afraid of the "fakebit". If you're more confortable with it, go for it!

I listened to half of it, didn't enjoyed much of the sound (cliche gb sounds, but that's not the point). Nevertheless, the music is fresh and steers away from the usual chipmusic, which I'm also bored with.
But I agree with you all, also is a discussion I always have with my peers here. As much as I like electronic music (acid, house, techno), my background was punk/post-punk. Now I bought a little beringher mixer from Pulselooper and I'm planing to go back to my old compositions, maybe even using a guitar. Kinda New Wave dancey.
Also, the discussion was always that chipmusic don't mesh with vocals, which I always disagreed.
Now, back to the topic, I enjoyed, but not much, but it's just because of my taste in music. Maybe listening to half of it is not enough to say that. But, still I enjoyed the effort, I would like to see more of it growing in the "scene". Specially from bit shifter, who sings well.

Yes, the EMS usb cart. It works well, pulselooper uses it, so does Droid-on here in Brazil and it works real well.

Good riddance to anyone leaving 8bc because of childish drama. Seriously, it's not hard to ignore it, submit music, and comment on some. That's what 8bc does best. A nice active community. If chipmusic.org made a couple of key changes, it could shadow 8bc easily. But not being able to click on an artist name and see their list of music is enough of a reason to never use this site. But hey, at least you can PM someone. -_-
This is the example of why people start being dicks. Why everytime 8bcs name appears here something ugly happens? There's a reason why we avoid talking about 8bc.

A lot of the people coming here are innocent. This is a time to welcome and encourage people to chipmusic.org rather than give then an excuse to turn away and fuel yet more dissent amongst the chip music community. I get your perspective, I really do, but people need a place to find answers, you're fortunate (chipmusic.org) that people are coming here for them, which says a something about the community wanting to come together.
I can't disagree. I would debate some more but it really doesn't matter, actually. Silly are my arguins (is that the correct word?).
