This release needs more love.

I'd recommend making your first release a FREE one. What you need now is getting people to listen to it.

Sure, making a PSU from scratch sounds like a nightmare. The PC ones work well for most of these things. You have +12VDC and +5VDC in a PC PSU, you just need to measure if you have the right amount of amperes on each line.

Good luck!

It's a good disk drive, many times more reliable than Commodore's drives. I used to have one myself.
From the looks of the pinout I am almost sure you can use a regular PC PSU to power this thing, provided you have the right plug. I think you can modify (extract one pin) of a 6 pin DIN plug to make this connector.

That's an Excelerator FSD-2 if I am not wrong, so you can either source an Excelerator power supply or follow this pinout:

The pinout for the Oceanics / Excelerator Plus drive power supply
connector is as follows. This diagram is shown facing the rear of the
drive.

      +12VDC @ 1/2 Amp ------4 1------- +5VDC @ 1 Amp

                 Ground ------2 3------- Ground
                                  5------ no connection

Although the supply specs are the same as for a CBM 1541-II / 1581
supply, the connector is different. A Radio Shack # 274-003 DIN
connector will fit the Excelerator drive.

Reports on Lemon Amiga say that Excelerator is a relabeled MASTER-41. This proves it:

I have been busy with other things and put this to rest. I hope to resurrect it and finish it this weekend.

Well, I needed a break from work. Don't expect something fantastic smile
Vol.1 was my favourite! So here goes:

Don't ask much why, for some reason, I got images of the Kefrens' demo "Desert Dream", and this looks similar to that tongue

Pixelled with grafx2, 20 colors, not much other fanciness going around. It did not take 10 minutes though! Shuffled it between work tasks.

Double size for blind-os:

"OP-1 is unfortunately sold out."
At 800 euros.
Really?
As RG said I guess this is a nice toy for those rich enough to afford it. me, I still dream that one day Ill have enough extra cash to buy a Machinedrum from Elektron.

I like your style, Tinctu wink
I thought CreaMD didn't want to continue making Forever, I am glad it still goes on! One of the best oldschool-only demoparties.

So, the theme of this year is "C". What does this entail?

Tell me more about 4xOS.

I been dodging the issue of getting an XL machine because I really don't want to clutter up with shit I'll never use, but I am pretty sure in the coming weeks I'll get one tongue

I eitehr want a 130 or the GS, I think I will still go for the XEGS, more space inside for mods and I can put my TV on top of it and optimize space tongue

I used to have the whole system, I sold it to UI, but now I am looking to get it again. I like how it looks with teh detached keyboard.

It depends on what OSX you are running. I packaged the one I am running in Leopard, here it is:
