This has been done too many times since MK12 created their "Brazil" video, so I got really tired of this. It used to be nice.
My favourite video of this type is this though:

Uhm, making a picture in whatever method then downgrading it to 8-bit colour with dithering is far, far away from pixelart.
Sorry, the picture itself is not bad, but the process is ridiculously off and a bit insulting to those of us who took the effort to actually PIXEL a piece.

I think you should combine SID and DMG in every tune, otherwise the difference in sound is too noticeable.
This was the quick impression I had with a quick hop through the EP. I will listen properly soon. Keep up the good work!

I see price gauging on Elektron's side with those prices.

In late 2006, Elektron claimed that "100 became 200"..  This marks the third time that an additional 100 chips were being produced, each time claiming to be the "final run."  This (and the fact that some aftermarket clones of original SID chips exist) has raised skepticism as to how scarce the supply actually is...

They haven't produced SIDstations in years. The price for one of these units is pretty high, just check eBay.

Hardcore cable mess. Kudos!
As for the problem, it might have to do with the cables indeed/ Can't you make something that avoids the cabling?

If you're comfortable with working with the ICs and have another C64 with sound that works, you can swap the ICs from their sockets.  I turned four dead C64s into two working ones in that way.

As long as you put hem in a 100% working motherboard it should be OK.
I did the other way round: I had a C64 with no sound so I had the bright idea of putting another SID in it. It would still get no sound. I did it again. The problem was on the motherboard therefore I fried 3 SIDs in one afternoon. Yipee yay!

That sounds much better smile
I hope, for accuracy, that you portrait a mechanic fixing a car.

Yo, m3. I challenge you to recreate any one of these.

I don't understand the challenge, he did all those already.

Tour cancelled.

I won't buy another console when what I have runs the software just fine. I also never liked the SP and its noise level, the AGB is pretty damn clean!

The NDS works well anyway, I'd recommend it to anyone.

I noticed speed issues when trying it in the GBA though, the interface would get slow when playing and modifying.

They are USB if you buy a special cable from them but I don't see any point in doing this when flashing from an NDS with GBALDR works so well!

I think the DAC or some other audio shit can stop working but still let the chip read the pots...

Report #1 running it in an AGB-01: don't run it in an AGB-01 tongue
The screen is shit, and the positioning of START and SELECT make this software useless.
I could use it if it wasn't for the positioning of SELECT and START.

I'll stick to trying it in my NDS

I got one of the supercheap dx carts today and tried this, albeit briefly.
I am happy that I will be able to play with this soon! I really like the way the wav channel works.

Smiker, te pasaste chaval, pinta muy muy bueno el tracker.
