HOW ABOUT EVERY TIME I SUGGEST SOMETHING, YOU ALL BUST MY BALLS
+1, probably the best suggestion James has made.

HOW ABOUT EVERY TIME I SUGGEST SOMETHING, YOU ALL BUST MY BALLS
+1, probably the best suggestion James has made.
There's no router here, we're on a wired network of VIACOM, a large multinational corporate.
Do you want a fiddle at that? Because I don't
Problem is, I have no admin rights at my work computer. So I can't get that
Well I forgot to add a smiley in there.
No offense taken, mate
*phew*, then xD
I would really like to test this before any further comment.
It's a good first impression, and in a way I love that it looks like a real tracker (hey, in LSDJ you see only one track at once!), but the GBA's complicated interface sometimes makes some things impossible.
I remember suffering with Musicbox D:
This is a cool machine, specially for AHX and Musicline.
I fully endorse it
It even has Kickstart remapping so you can switch to an older kickstart for compatibility with old soft, or keep a newer one (as it seems this machine has) for newer apps.
Why are people copying threads from other forums?
Being an adult avoids flamewars.
I just turned 12. What's your story?
Without a "rolling demo" I can't realize the pages thing. Good call!
This single screen still looks a bit crowded and with too many supersmall elements. And you just said it yourself, I don't have to look at all that stuff when I play live, so it shouldn't be crowded. But this is not the Live screen. How would I know, if I don't know the software? A bit more explanation would have been nice.
That's just my opinion, it;'s no good to get all uppity about it, you should be able to take constructive criticism in. Relax dude, it looks pretty great, which is what I said FIRST.
Fucking internet, man.
Damn, those interactive demos are very, very sweet.
Remember that the guys at XPLSV have basically taken their demoengine, added interaction to it and created a VJ tool, so it would be very possible
You should try the Kawasaki Synthesizer and the other Kawasaki productions, they have visualization modes.
Jeff Minter made more visualization software for many platforms, namely Psychedelia (C64 and others), Colourspace (Atari 8-Bit and BBC) and Trip-a-Tron(Amiga and Atari ST). The guy is crazy about this stuff. He also made the VLM for Atari Jaguar CD, Nuon and others.
If you start up LSDJ in different sessions (which is always prone to human error too) to record each track, you will introduce so much shit in there that syncing up by hand will be very unaccurate. If you happen to have to stretch the recordings somehow to match, you will have introduced artifacts in the recording. I wouldn't suggest it.
Use MIDI syncing for multitrack recording.
And my best tip: make music that is good Production is just a detail.
My brain is not functioning properly.
This is a pre-emptive move by the way
Remember: ignore functions avoid flamewars.
The BoardWalk, Sheffield,
[Wednesday 3rd Feb 2010] - [7 Till Late] - [£3 Entry]
Dude, I didn't know you were from Sheffield.
I played there during my 2008 tour in a little funny place called "Dulo", you know it?

I will inform my Sheffield friends about your gig. Good luck!
The composing is not in question, rather the poor quality of the sound itself.
The samples sound like absolute cack thanks to what ant1 has explained before!
