No, really, please, give me a break.
This clearly goes in General Discussion.
The forum's title is being abused, I think.

Despite the usual pooboy typical chliché stuff, this album was pretty good! It's a bit "random" at parts, but I think that is Ralp's intention. There was this "noise" going on for the whole album and it tired me (I think it was the 'bass' or bassdrum. It's the same note throughout)

There should be more varied style releases, this one was a bit of fresh air for sure.

You might want to check this thread out. Alleges 99% cmpatibility with software:

Another one:
http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=48603

It seems it can also work at 28Mhz, that could improve working on tracks. You could actually run Musicline Editor with it.

Yes, it only emulates an A500, and tries to do so to as much perfection as possible.
I have heard some issues with them but have no experience with one.
I really, really like the WinUAE emulator on PC, is one of the best emulators ever and a great tool if you have a real Amiga (I use it a lot to test stuff, I have a ghost copy of my Amiga running in it).
Having one of these for gigs and Protracker might be cool though, but only if it accepts some sort of hard drive-like storage system in it, because using emulated floppies is probably a pain in the arse (fuck load times). I;m not sure about compatibility ratings but it seems to be pretty high, the Amiga, once a mysterious beast, is very well documented nowadays, and Toni Wilen, creator of WinUAE, makes an awesome job at discovering new hidden and illegal processor opcodes and implementing them by emulation.

I find it absolutely disgusting that people charge for copying you a software.
A network of users that can help others around with this sort of stuff should be EASY to make. I'm gonna try setting one up at EAB.
Nope, I don't need it, I got my Amiga with a multicard reader that takes SD, Memory Stick and others smile Thanks anyway.

There's no difference.
Also, why does the graphics forum, for example, now have a a photography thread? Wouldn't that be in General Discussion? How's that related to chipmusic? I am having a hard time trying to see the point of that in there. Perhaps those forums should be subforums of General Discussion...
oh well..

That shit's ridiculous! How are you powering it? That screen looks good too. Can you give me some specs?

But you are missing like 4 buttons. Way to go tongue

But how do you get that first floppy done? That's usually the big problem smile

Yes you can.
Actually the best is to put there a Kickstart switch board (usually called "ROM sharer"), so you can have 1.3 and a newer one and you can swap them at the flick of a switch.

But in my opinion A500s are stupid hard to upgrade. Getting a hard drieve in them is annoying, and transferring files with your PC becomes tedious. In an A600 or A1200, you can have an easy to find IDE hard drive, and also you can put a PCMCIA NIC or Card reader for easy file transfers. They are the best machines to have for actual usage.

You didn't say what you need MIDI for so this is a shot in the dark, but you could use Piggytracker. It has MIDI out.

Wordpress does this too.
What I think happens, is that it works in PC but not Macs. But I could be wrong.
