Love to see this finally come to light.
Catching a glimpse of my friend Martín at the end of the video made me smile.
Thanks to Device for taking upon finishing this up. It looks awesome and Martín would be really proud.

emerger cart! Cool! My first one was an emerger but I gave it away to a friend smile

It's my favorite flash cart for games. Holds multiple saves.

It's the best cartridge there was back then in my opinion. I used two of them until last year whern I sold the kit with the two 64Mb carts.
Just teh software is quite shit.

demos were not generally distributed with source code for a long time, maybe in the Spirit Of Competition.

As said before, if you were IN the demoscene, you COULD get access to loads if not most of the stuff.

NBA jam just came out for iOS

NBA Jam has been out for quite a while, I have it since last year. It's really fun.

Playing it on my iPhone (free!!).

I always thought the scene was pretty open even though it doesn't look like from outside. Demoparties were and are the main places to learn how stuff is done by the masters themselves. You'd be surprised of how much you can learn at one.

Also, for these guys, back then, with a monitor cartridge, any demo was "open" wink
I guess the only difference now is that with the internet anyone can get the source, not just demoscene people.

Who knows, after so many crashes/backups/etc. and since I been using it since 2000, I can guesstimate:

C64 High-Res, sprite enhanced image with a bunch of artifaction I couldn't be assed to fix. Making High-Res on C64 is harder than one thinks.
