Just wait till the first production run of abrasive's "Heaps Cart" is out.

I can't be arsed with this game boy shit anymore. I switched to mGB and store nothing on the GB cart. Much more reliable.

I just back up my carts regularly.

This was always my main problem, before there were no USB carts and backing up meant having a computer ancient enough to both have a parallel port and a shitty operating system that would run the even shittier software bundled with the cartridge reader you had chosen. So frequent backups were out of teh question..

I was on tour for all 2008 and back up was not an option, so I lost a ton of shit after a battery death in Sheffield. There were some good tunes there sad

Wait hold on. Your cart battery died and so you're ditching the console?

I'd say reliability in data storage is a very important concern.

you might like to take this opportunity to try LGPT ! the interface is the same so you will pick it up easily

Well, there's quite a gap going from synthesis-based composition to sample-based composition... not as easy as it seems.

one of those things I want to get to, is redoing our css, and adding mobile css support in the process.

That would be brilliant big_smile Because I don't want to pay for something like Tapatalk (and I don't even know if it would support this forum).

Now this app looks interesting! Also a forum interface would be good, since reading stuff up on an iPhone browser, for example, is rather annoying.

Nah Akira, I don't like any of the people here who seem only to be active in the community for the purpose of trolling others.

akira makes tons of great music and is doing shows and generally being a smart guy, so there's that too
this is starting to head well outside the scope of the discussion, though

Thanks for that man.
I'm not even interested in replying to people being douchebags to me on the internet. So I won't comment any further.

Also, TABLES! Tables are key.

This is so LSDJ/Game Boy centric that it dynamites your whole original argument which refers to chipmusic in general.

Chipmusic >>>>> Game Boy. Perhaps that is your problem.
