With the pockets- is that $15 for the pair, or $15 each? Also, is the SP the backlit variety or frontlit?

I prefer an XL, but alot of tighter shirts are such that an XXL is going to be more comfortable. I do like very loose fitting shirts, honestly.

Some of you might be into the demoscene, but for those of you who aren't, there is someplace you have to give a try.

http://www.scenemusic.eu/demovibes/

This place is a collection of TONS of music from the Demoscene, much of which has been done on classic hardware. There is a ranking system which goes along with whatever is currently playing on the stream (which are very high quality btw) and you can request songs by just browsing around and clicking. This is assuming you have an account of course, which is free. If the song on the stream is awesome, you van vote it's rating up, and add it to your favorites list so you can request or download it later. It's a great way to discover new music.

ALSO- as if that wasn't enough, there is a website dedicated only to videogame music, which also streams live!

EEK! I did forget to comment your piece! So sorry! It looks pretty rad. The sparse background is actually kinda nice IMO, it keeps the focus where it should be.

Umm... nobody likes Squoon for the NES? It's an amazing game!

Also, Aero Fighters 2 is excellent, as is ASO 2 (Alpha Mission 2), both of which are for the Neo Geo.

Lastly, everyone who likes shmups MUST play Bangai-Oh! for the N64.

Google just announced they are dropping support for FTP in Blogger.  Well done Google you idiots! Now I have to port all my blogs to Wordpress.  Grrrr.

Use Gopher, you'll be happier. Much happier. smile

You'll want to check out my gopher page:

gopher://retro-net.org/1/arfink/

They're super easy to write, easy to maintain, clean, retro, and if you have a browser which won't be stupid about interpreting the protocol, really fast. I suggest using Lynx for the ultimate in authentic Gopher surfing experience. I host my Gopher for free on the Retro-Net, a nice 68k Macintosh BSD-based network service for retro computing enthusiasts.

Just do tha challenge, leave teh drama llamas to do their thing somewhere else. I'm eagerly awaiting EmThree's art, he's a great artist.

NO! Don't put the AC from the standard NES power pak into the Famicom, you will fry the 7805 at least, since there is no onboard rectifier on the Famicom but there is one on the NES.

Also fact. You spend time thinking about this too? Everyone I tell about it thinks I'm some kind of nutjob conspiracy theorist, usually only half jokingly.

It's got WinMobile. Ew. Why would anyone want this if he isn't a Microsoft fanboy? Monolithic kernel architectures should not even be used on home computers, let alone on mobile devices. Use a monolithic kernel on your server, use a microkernel on these guys. Yuck. This just looks like it'll have issues up and down.

Well, Google can't quite go the Microsoft route yet, because they aren't directly charging for their products, only making money via ads. And unlike Microsoft, they don't have an OEM-distribution fueled monopoly of the market, and probably never will. The only possibly problematic thing is with "cloud computing" which to me seems like a quantum leap backwards into the days of dumb terminals and mainframes. Which is cool for all the retrocomputing nerds, except it's not retro and whenever the "cloud" goes down everyone will be screwed.

However, I do agree that Google has the makings to become a dominant predatory software house like Microsoft. Right now about the only thing I can find fault with Google for is the way they treat their employees. (Like indentured servants, that's how.)

Did YOU message Em Three about this? It's in the rules that it's your job. *ahem*
