thanks for the article emar! hate how it ends. I would really like to have for instance a knob control the midi CC as well. he says that you can but in a later article however I do not think there is another with more info.

I have never used midi to send notes to mgb before. I am trying it out and finally figured out how to get notes played but now I am interested in things like pitch bend or panning. How can I automate this in ableton? Is there a way to create a sort of thing that is similar to a table in LSDJ in ableton? so that when I press a key it for instance pans left and right quickly?

Yeah that big black album was loved. In fact I listened to it so much that I kind of cannot listen to it anymore. I dont know if anyone else has that issue but if I listen to something too much in a short period of time I am totally exhausted of it and cannot listen to it again. I can hear that album in my head by just thinking of a track title.

I love Eraserhead!
I lose now don't I? I wont even make it to the compo now huh?
I will admit that it was interesting. interesting enough that I watched the whole way through. some scenes were strangely beautiful as well. I guess I should take it in as a piece of art rather than a film with a plot but I guess it is hard for me somehow.
and yeah... most people I know like it too. There is a broken down synapse in my brain somewhere that keeps me from appreciating that film lol.

I really like the song and felt it was avant garde, atmospheric, and a bit eerie. I should have picked a better allusion, but none came to mine. I only mentioned the song because those were the songs I liked the most. Also, thank you, really flattered you liked my song; I'm blown away by your stuff.
ditto.

Wow, this is going to be an insane comp. It is amazing how different all of the styles are.
Space Harrier by Kenobit - lot of love went into that.
Rei Yano gets the David Lynch soundtrack award.
Outer Zone by Turbo Crush - this is just badass. It think of a fat final boss in a suit appearing on all of the TVs in the city and tormenting you with pictures of thugs abusing your kidnapped girlfriend... on top of his skyscraper. HURRY! HURRY!
wish I got your joke. I think the only thing I have seen by him is eraserhead and I really did not like it.
