Actually, the clipping is a bit on the wild and unpredictable side. Some way to kinda reign that in would be nice.

I just don't agree on why that's such a BIG matter in a forum about music.

Think of it like this, there are two bars, one has a big sign on the door saying "all welcome" when there staff are careful to make sure while everything is fun and relaxed, the patrons dont get TOO out of hand and start throwing around really vicious insults. The bar next door doesn't have an "all welcome" sign and you dont really know what the staff are like. In all other respects, the bars are the same. Which one are you more likely to go to if you don't want to be insulted in a way which makes you uncomfortable?

And

This should help

There is an entire language full of rich and colorful words we can use to express ourselves. A very very small number of those words have been and continue to be used to hurt or insult groups of people who were usually a disadvantaged minority. Continuing to use those words without consideration to the pain it might cause shows rather a shocking lack of good judgement.

Some users havent been able to figure out where the line between acceptable and unacceptable is. In those cases the mods will step in.

Political correction sucks. Ill acept it, but it sucks.

There is a pretty big difference between political correctness and asking people not to use homophobic and racist language but thanks for noting and accepting the rule.

This is a serious question

Yes it is considered insensitive by the moderation team.

good fucking question....

The mods have added a new rule.

"13. This forum is actively inclusive, regardless of race, gender, sexual identity or preference. Insensitive use of discriminatory language is not acceptable, please conduct yourselves accordingly."

This should be fairly self explanatory but if anyone wants clarification please ask.

So I had a bit of a wild idea. I assume this is possible. Write a track, pan everything to the left, send it to your mixer. On the right channel use a sawtoothy type wave form with your vocal melody on it, send it to your talk box.

Has anyone tried this? I assume it would work. Thoughts?

Would save as really be that hard on the CPU? I mean you can (just) do render on PSP.

Vibrato

This is unlikely to happen as you already have really fine control over pitch with PFIN and PTCH. combine those with HOP and you can do really complex vibrato already.

edit - I mean use PFIN, PITCH and HOP in tables.
