interesting. about to do a mod with my gameboys. this might be a neat inclusion to that project, along with the prosound and other shenanigans. dont want to say what i am doing yet but its safe that this should yield some interesting results with nothing other than just a game boy.
I see the piggy thread is in use. i always check the piggy thread.
a visual loop editor would be cool or a way to see what you are editing. numbers are good but its hard to tell where your at.
if you did a "save as" the load time for saving a project under a new name would take forever wouldnt it? rewriting all that info and data plus the files might be too much for these devices little processors.
his piggy skills are commendable.
strangely i dont have this problem.
so we all going to get drunk and party right? thats what this is right? cuz thats why i am going. dont disappoint me.
LSDJguides!!!!
these videos are based off of a lot of the info that got me started in lsdj. didnt have a videos or one place to learn this stuff. we had to get this info from a whole bunch of sources but this is seriously great for patches.
this thread really helped out. I combined the noise kick with some bassy drums in the wave channel using a kit of 909 and 808 I believe. works well together.
thanks goatslacker and everyone else!
this is how you use samples in lsdj.
now everyone quit complaining and try it out.
I have given up all hope and will now procede to look at other options.
also not practical.
I just cant justify wasting time and effort to make an aesthetical change to an effect pedal that causes the destruction of another useful device. to be honest it doesn't even look cool. it just looks messy, cramped, and wasteful to me. it would be different if there was added functionality but there isn't at all. broken gameboys can be used to fix other gameboys and be spare parts for failing ones. the only purpose for this is to say "hey i got a gameboy case with an effect pedal inside it"
the rather superficial ideas behind this seem to really make this project fall short as something that is interesting in any way.
no disrespect. thats my cc for you tho.
are you wearing a snuggie?
yes.... yes i am. i am not ashamed of it.
True story. I have been sick as fuck. flu and all. Being bed ridden and unable to go to work. I decided to make a series of live jam videos. I havent released much recordings lately so I thought this would be a nice way to share some of my music. plus its a good way to pass the time.
since all of the recordings were made while in bed and under blankets this series is called "under the sheets"
tracks were made with lsdj, lgpt, and nanoloop lite for the iphone. new mixer. still learning it. anyways.
enjoy.
edit: i also just must made a playlist on my youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deW1KP5y 2864859D73
