How come like the only copies of this are from Japan and are like £50?!
There's privacy protection on the ROM as well, which was my last-ditch effort to get it. I'm not paying some guy on eBay WAY over the odds for this :c

I've been working for quite a while to record a proper album - what I've done in the past is quickly recorded demos really, and I wanted something cleaner and just generally more up to scratch.
Work on it is almost done and it's set to hopefully be released soon - both online, and on a limited run of cassettes hopefully! - so I thought I'd let some of you guys hear a bit of what I've done.
It's just two tracks, but hopefully it'll give you a taste for what I do!

Pre-pot is definitely the way to go. It's a bit louder and punchier as well (at least using the pre-pot points I have, as opposed the soldering onto the pot like I have on my other DMG).

I've finally knuckled down to some recording properly (rather than just straight out my DMG).
Add some EQ (make it a little less dull and muddy), add some compression to make the bass stand out nicely, add a touch of reverb (more if I'm using it with more conventional instruments + vocals, I find it sits a bit nicer), viola.
I'd always thought it'd be a bitch to line up the separate tracks having recorded each channel separately - however, I do some stuff with LSDJ synced to my Atari ST, so I had to record each of those separately and match them up. Worked perfectly! I may try it one day. Pretty happy with how this is sounding without that though.

I perform under my name (Euan Lynn), which people ALWAYS misspell. Usually I say "It's Euan with a U" so they write "Ewun" hahah. And often they spell my surname "Lynne", no idea why.
Then again, my name is fairly uncommon haha
