I'm super stoked about it!

Bump because Sulumi's set at Blip almost brought me to tears.

Why are you guy tweaking? Did I miss something?

What you didn't miss is this month's Critical Mass in Budapest.

Might need a place to stay.  Hmmm.

Totally not old enough to go to the show I'm playing bahaha

Just watched The Great Happiness Space!  Pretty crazy world that I knew nothing about (but probably will never experience).  Definitely would recommend.

I was actually really fired up at the last 8static because of how few people there were.  A week or two earlier I played a set in the music/art building, had about 60+ people watching me at one point, a guy offered to hand out the fliers I had for me, I was given a business for photography and a myspace to check out, and NONE of these people came.  Definitely hitting up the smaller venues is a good idea, obvs the church is a huge venue as with the Starlight, Troc and TLA, but other places like Johnny Brenda's, KFN, PYT are definitely achievable.   I had very briefly talked to the head manager of Brave New World Comics in Olde City about having people play in the store on first Fridays because it would be great cross promotion and he said he'd call/email but he never did.  I'm thinking about giving a call tomorrow since I'll have free time, anybody want to give a hand with this?

Who the Fuck is Jackson Pollock: loved this movei, its about a lady who picks up a possible Jackson Pollock from a thrist stroe and attempts to see if its worth anything, interesting look into the art world

Just watched this because it was on Netflix.  Pretty great!  Really makes me hate art people though tongue Thanks so much for all the suggestions!  Hopefully I'll be able to get to all of these badboys

really, it just comes down to the philly artists themselves wanting to put their names out there

This could not be more true!  Every single show that I have played has been offered to me, which is pretty killer, but doesn't help myself at all.  Personally, I love playing shows, but with school right now it is not a priority for me so I haven't even attempted to book anything by myself.

Yeah, it's kind of a problem that Animal Style and I have talked about.  The majority of us only play 8static anymore.  Every once and a while there's a con or expo that all of the Philly scene basically participates in and nobody comes to watch.  Cheap Dinosaurs just played at the Fire last night I think?  I'm working on a project that will hopefully have more mass appeal than my current stuff.  Otherwise, just wait for it to come, wish I could be of more help

Hey!  I like movies!  You can find out about that here.
Lately though, I've been watching alot of documentaries (Style Wars, King of Kong, Helvetica, We Are Traffic).
I was wondering if anybody had good recommendations for any?
I want to see the new Banksy film, but I gotta organize some friends seeing it.
Also, I have Netflix, but there seems to be lots of poop and little substance there.
Any direction would be killer!  Thanks!!
