Anyone know if there's going to be a stream, as there was for Blip Tokyo?
I'd say if it is going to happen all it will take is a few people coming forward (much like trash80 and I did) and offering to take care of it on the night. We didn't know it was going to happen until someome suggested it and we shrugged and said "hey, why the fuck not?".
I'd make a joke about calling the number you put up there, but i already had it.
Go nuts. I'm a lonely man Also, I left my phone at home today I just realised.
Funnily enough those "old cards" were not even business cards. They actually set out to do exactly what this thread is mocking. It was a little info card with DPAD productions on the front and some websites people could visit for the artists we'd hosted at past shows as well as that other internet forum's address.
I got sick of explaining wtf chiptune was to people so I'd just say "...music with Gameboys and shit. Here, go to these addresses if you are interested in it. CYA!"
Our very own Maddest Kings Alive was recorded "back in the day" (When he had hair?! Who the fuck knew!?) at a "Dim's awesome John Hughes party" All you kids out there who think they invented "white people awkwardly dancing to chip music" need to see this video and then bow down to your new chip overlord.
Fenris was kickin it before you were even a twitch in your fathers nut sack. (he's the one on the right on stage)
For your consdieration I present... Maddest Kings Alive
I think i should at least leave my guns and bombs at home..
this is a common beginner's mistake. What most people don't realize is that while going abroad, and especially on planes, you will be in need of guns, bombs, and sharp cutting utensils even more so than in the standard suburban home.
Don't forget the giant killer bees. Can't go wrong with a box of big arse bees.
HAHAHA that was such a good show. Every single night I went to was special for a different reason. It ended up being one of the most memorable holidays AND live shows I've had the pleasure of attending.
So much love to all the crew I shared the experience with. Let's do it all again next year!
