I'll say this though, the included sample kit is particularly poor.

Try this to make some of your own and experiment until you get it right.

Oh man, bad choice of words on my behalf. I'm closing this one off. If you would like to purchase said wonder machine please send herr_prof a PM.

I'd really appreciate it if we could leave the jokes aside for the moment. Action has been requested of the original poster. I don't want to close this thread because there is obviously a legitimate desire to sell but I don't want to see it descend into personal jabs or slander. I'd request that the people shit stirring please edit your posts.

LOL I think she meant literally IN our house. At one time or another every Australian artist I know has graced our humble abode.

i don't think it's the appropriate time for demotivating posters. I think we've kinda had enough of that dontcha think? We had an amazing event happening that wound up in a crapshoot...

Well... no. There was never an amazing event. People keep talking about this as if it was sure fire. The level of commitment displayed was non existant. These are people who got excited about something 'new' and 'trendy' and wanted to come to the sandpit to play. Then when they found out how unrewarding chip music promotion is they made their excuses and bailed.
They booked and promoted an unrealistic gig that was never going to happen and now they are trying to blame it on the scene. Poor form. They deserve all the flames that can be fanned IMO.

cmon guys, where is the carnage? these responses are far too even-handed o far. especially you dosPrompt. that sort of insightful, constructive criticism is WAY out of line here.

Don't go blaming the scene or a forum for your mistakes b3tabot. You've failed in so many areas here.

You obviously didn't enter into a contract with the venue or your financial backers. You didn't do your research on your target audience to gauge demand and worst of all you tried to organise an even in a public forum. You wanted to have your cake and eat it too. You wanted to ride the excitement and adulation of your peers to gig day but when the water got too cold you started having second thoughts. You can say that it's the venues fault all you want, but your job as a promoter is to ensure that things like venue bookings are concrete.

These are all novice mistakes and I doubt you've ever thrown a successful event of this scale previously if you are still making these errors.

AAAH but you see, we'll still be in Tokyo and you'll be in DC.

DC =/= Tokyo.

Weep my child. Weep.

Fun release. I think it could have been released as a 12" A / B side. There were two tunes that I liked. "Fake bit much" and "Werewolf in Paris" are the strongest IMO. "You are playing with a wolf" was ok but didn't really excite me and truthfully the dubmood remix was really obvious, repetitive and uninspiring. It just felt like filler to try and make up the sacred 4 track EP that everyone seems to want to stick to.

On the whole though, I really dig this release. Nice one.

Japan... why god why?

Are you for real?

Japan is a fucking amazing place to visit! And with 5 months out you should be able to snag a cheap ticket. I got mine for $500 return on a 2 for 1 sale fare. Just keep your eyes open and save them pennies.
