Pocket Music SOLD smile

Don't even practice on a gameboy. Get some broken electronics to try it out on, and check your work with a conductivity tester. Tug on your solder joints to see how strong they are.

People keep being all "I want Pocket Music" and "I want Nanoloop" and then not sending me money, so they are still both up for grabs, as well as some EMS carts.

Here's a good rule of thumb:

Give Johan more money for LSDJ than you spend on your gameboy.

Yeah, it came off with a knockoff grey case, it looks tinted towards pink to my eyes. Will gladly include it.

The only time I've used a second gameboy was on a track that mimicked salsa music; it helped me cover all the necessary percussion patterns without giving up melodic capabilities, as well as some fun tonal tweaks and doublings.

1xDMG and 1xGBC is nice, gives you a little more variety.

Geez, people. Use whatever the fuck you've got, especially when you're just starting out.

As you develop a style and you really find out what kind of music you want to make, you can collect the right gear to do it with.

Or, maybe your style will develop around the gear you have. Either way, there's no right or wrong.
