WHAAAAAAAAAT
That's what I get for watching Star Trek with my wife instead of staring at cm.org all night.
What's the likelihood of getting the everdrive-md in stock sometime soon?
Boobs are nice though!
It's not my favorite, but Firefox was being a bitch on my machine for awhile, and I just did a reinstall and haven't installed FF yet.
Regardless, the issue stands.
I do that too. That's not the problem.
The problem is that there are plenty of legitimate reasons to visit cm.org and not want to immediately check all the new forum posts, but if you want to keep track of what you haven't read, you have no other option.
I just started trying out Safari's "Top Sites" function, just to give it a shot. Guess what? Because it pre-loads the pages, I HAVE to visit cm.org first thing after I open Safari every time, or the site marks everything as read.
Yeah, it sucks when you're doing something like posting a release or announcing a show, or just trying to check a PM for an address to ship something that was purchased for you - and you have to read all the new posts to avoid having the site forget what you haven't read...
Or you could get a pulsar cart to help support the guy who's making the munch.
Yeah, this has been bugging me too. Just had this problem again - didn't even take long, I just spent a few seconds telling ghostery not to block the twitter badge, and when I came back it forgot about all my unread threads!
jesus, that's awesome.
Thank you Rocky!
I also wanted to add that the trombone players I brought to play with us at the show had no clue what they were in for - neither of them had even heard of chiptune, and my wife was still explaining it to them after their arrival.
By the end of the show, they couldn't stop talking about how huge the energy was, and how much of a good time they were having. One of them was dancing to Bit Shifter in the front row with his cousins. The other one asked for a copy of our EP-on-a-USB cart in lieu of the promised fuel reimbursement.
What I'm trying to say is, it's easier to make converts of people than you think. Just bring them to a good chip show and let the magic happen!
For good measure, here's a photo of said trombone players with us onstage:
Lizzie and I are proud to present to you 5 tracks of all original chip-flavored rock; gameboy guitar drums and vocals. And accordion. Engineered and mixed and co-produced by Crashfaster.
After getting to play an amazing release show with Bit Shifter, Crashfaster, Starpause and Awkward Terrible last night, it feels so good to finally have this out in the world. Please enjoy!

p.s. We also had preorders running which came with bonus material, and a physical package that was for sale at the show built into USB flash-drive gameboy carts with professionally printed labels. Some of those fancy packages may yet be available for sale online soon.
effff yeah, this was so much fun
hey photos are starting to pop up

Thank you to everyone who came through and bought all of Awkward Terrible's merch!
Oh, and our EP.
Josh your set was amazing, keep singing more!
Yeah, but that's a problem with the system, more than the user (at least in theory). CC needs to be somehow separated from the rest of the forums, or made into a function of the music part of the site, or SOMETHING other than a subforum that gives everybody notifications.
dude you're in SF already, I didn't even know
anyway, MY HANDS ARE ALL BLISTERY FROM PRACTICING THIS IS TOMORROW WHAAAAAAAAT
So much crazy shit going on at this show. You don't even know.
8bc is saturated with users who ask the same questions, even when there are reference posts with the information they're looking for right in front of their eyes. You can tell they're not even trying, but want other people to do all the work for them. It's not about being a noob per se, but the lacking attention span and/or low age.
This is key. There are tons of "quiet noobs" who do their research, don't ask any stupid questions, maybe ask for CC a couple times, and then come out with a respectable release, seemingly out of nowhere.
I also have two powerpaks and would be down for testing.
Also, NESserial. :3
