Strobe lights are possible, and it wouldn't be a "crazy" circuit either, actually. It's very simple. It can probably be done with an LM386 or maybe even just one transistor.

It's a backlight switch, you can see it labeled "on and off". Placement doesn't have too much to do with it's function.

The wallpaper was made by Thretris, so he probably modded the DMG too.

There's a substantial improvement for certain colors. For some, it's definitely not worth it. I find yellow looks a lot worse.

Here's a comparison

Normal, inverted, dual invert.

Not if you have an LSDj-dedicated DMG. If so, it's just redundant power draw.

But not everyone uses their DMG for just LSDj. There's other music software, and of games of course.

Depends who you buy from. LSDj is a rom and songs are stored in ram, typically.

I load "songs" onto carts before shipping them usually for testing purposes. I considered allowing artists to send in save files to be loaded onto carts for the free promotion. Maybe I'll get on that.

that makes me an expert on the standard font.

Actually, it appears I was wrong. There doesn't seem to be a standard font.

Is this the font?

Doesn't appear to be, actually.
