I took a break from FaMI to try out something new.

I've coded up 2 different NSF playing roms (modified versions of the amazing vegaplay - thanks to NO CARRIER) - one is a master that sends a "sync" signal and one is a slave that does nothing but wait for the rising edge of that signal. Based on the way I'm running the sync it should be impossible for them to fall out of time. Right now I'm using an Arduino as a clock source (which is overkill, you can use something like a 555 timer) in place of a "master" NES but you get the picture.

I'll look into the LSDJ sync some more next.

Derp?

I think everyone from this forum will rush to tell you that there's no best way, and that the only concern should be on making good music. smile.

Which do you think is the best way of making music

hardware (only using synth keys, mpcs, ext eqls, ect)

software (only using fl studio, albeton, reason, ect)

Hybrid (this option is more obvious than the last two)

There's an unspoken rule here (which i guess should be spoken more often, as we see it inadvertently broken all the time by new members) that people on this forum expect newcomers to do a little searching on their own before posting a question which could be answered to some extent by a simple google search
Good luck.

"by purposefully ignoring people and refusing to help yourself you are making yourself increasingly unwelcome here."
i haven't ignored anyone and i simply ask a perfectly reliant question as to how i could get my music heard and i am certainly not a troll.
i can see where this conversation is heading and im not going to acknowledge you or akira anymore.

Been doing plenty of that. You dont have to like it just tell me what you dont like about it

"you should send this to a record label"
