Whilst I'm closing TWG in the next 2 months and stepping away from responsibilities at NTWRK // Pxl-Bot, to leave it in Alex Kelly's capable hands, we still have some unfinished business with WeeklyTreats. Plans for 2015 are already in motion with the first 13 pegged down and another new way of doing things (no curators or interviews, something new!!) that we're even more excited about than previous years ~~secrets~~.
BUT as this will 100% be the final year, we want to make sure we've 'had them all' so to speak, we don't want to miss out on some stellar talent just because they aren't on our radar yet!
So, if you're interested in getting involved for 2015's WeeklyTreats (this may seem premature at first but when we explain our plans you'll understand why) then throw me a PM, email [email protected] or [email protected] or hit us up on Facebook (we're easy to find, follow the sepia rabbit) maybe with a track or link to a track or something so we know whatchabout.
PLEASE do not apply if you've already done a WeeklyTreat, as with this year we're having a new batch of artists (or shit yourself if we're not interested xx)!
All the best and thanks for the support over the years, it's meant the world ~~~ heart ~~~

YO! Small update: TWG will be closing within the next two months. Reviews will, as a result, cease, however we still have 5-6 releases between now and closing date. All the best and thank you eternally for your support!! xx

Review of Auxcide's upcoming double album release, by TWG's first guest writer Bertrand Guérin-Williams, is now live here!

TWG turns two today! And to celebrate, sleepytimejesse has offered up a highly emotional, broken ambient release teeming with atmosphere, dread and serenity.
Sounding almost like soundtrack to a giallo film crossed with a haunted tape deck, Goblin via Trent Reznor, sleepytimejesse carves out an 18 minute cascade sounding more like tonal poetry than anything else in the chiptune scene today. This release also does a good job of summarising TWG's long-held mission statement: esoteric music full of emotion, the experimental and the affective glued together.

TWG015| Analog - Lumina
Whilst The Waveform Generator usually deals in the esoteric, the Deep House tones, Nanoloop manipulation and lofi attitude of Lumina give an irresistibly unorthodox take on very modern dance and club music, a maelstrom of mainstream numbers frothing with tomes of leftfield ideas just below the surface. Made for neon nights and strobing smoke-filled pits, Lumina is just as effective in a home environment. And you'll still get as sweaty.    ~~~*PLAY LOUD*~~~
