Here's what it looks like from the side with everything on:

Note: The battery terminal thing has velcro on it to hold it to the game boy. I took the Velcro off mine because I never use this thing.

And here is what it looks like from the front:

Kinda dwarfs the screen doesn't it? I guess thats what the magnifier is for....

I'm uploading a video to demonstrate how humorously loud the speakers are. I'll post it when it's done.

Have you played the original A Boy and His Blob? Does the remake fix the problem of having no idea what to do? I remember how Twilight Princess got a higher rating on GameCube than Wii.....facepalm nintendo. I never really got a chance to play Layton as I sold my ds before they really came out. It looked fun though. And yeah, space invaders extreme is pretty dang cool. Other games that you won't mention.......say Pokemon? Hehe. Ant pictobits looks pretty cool, like tetris in reverse or something. Oh yeah, Tetris DS isn't really anything new but it's awesome.

HI IM 12 AND WAT IN THE FUQ IS A SATRUN

And I should mention that the only game for PSP I enjoyed was LocoRoco 1/2. I have the soundtrack.

That's what you get for buying an xbox. Between the Wii and the DSi, I have some really good modern games that I won't soon forget.

Like what? I'm not trying to be confrontational, I'd just really like to know some good games. Every time I've played the wii I just ended up getting frustrated and thinking "this would be so much better with a real controller." Although ds is a whole other story. Retro Game Challenge was amazing! Phantom Hourglass was slightly disappointing. My favorite part about Windwaker (other than the graphics) were the sounds people would make. I would literally get to the part where they're launching you in a barrel with a catapult to get into the forsaken fortress and just leave it there because his grunts were so freaking funny. And the merchant ship guy "THAAAANNNK YOOUUUU!!!" Pheonix Wright was alright, New Super Mario Bros. was meh, Mario Kart DS multiplayer was amazing. Although I haven't had a chance to try a DSi/XL yet. How do they compare?

The weird thing is that my quest to find awesome vintage video games made me realize one of the greatest life lessons I may ever experience: Mediocrity in any form will never be remembered. I don't even like modern games. Except maybe Shadow Complex (which really isn't that modern, it's just like Metroid 2000) I consider my 360 to be a complete waste of money. Although I do like a smashing round of Halo with my friends, but I'd be caught dead before I was caught playing that atrocity alone.

Edit: Antonyms are an important part of life.

It's pretty red....the red tablecloth doesn't help the fact that my camera isn't that great. There's no such thing as a pink DMG is there?

Yeah I'm trying to think of when I got my first DMG.......lets see, I was born in 91, we were poor so I probably got one when I was 4 or 5 so it must have been like 95 or 96. Does anyone know when the play it loud's were released? I'm trying to figure out why my parents didn't get me one of those instead of the grey one because my brother already had one of those. But yeah, I was so stoked you don't even know. I still have that puppy too, it's all scratched, the speaker is blown, and half the screw posts inside are broken so the screws don't stay in but I still use it all the time.

Nice find! I didn't even think that it would come in a case like this. I thought that the play it loud era DMG's came in a box, but I guess I didn't really look into it.

Really, just clear like that? Well now I feel like quite the fool!

Edit: Beat me to it. Yeah mine was in mint condition too, like as mint as they come without being sealed. I doubt anyone ever played this. It was listed as a red Game Boy color......so yeah not a lot of bids on this one. Such a good deal though.

Dude, python is like really really ridiculously easy to learn. You could be making stuff like this in your first 5 minutes. Although doing it in BASH is like an F-U to the norm.

Edit: Spelling is hard.

I ordered this off eBay a while ago, but I noticed that the case seemed to be an official nintendo product, but I can't find any information about it. I suspect that it could be a case given with a refurbished product, does anyone know if Nintendo sold refurb gameboys?

Anyway, here's some pictures:

Front, with everything:

Rear:

Seal:

Inside:

As you can see here, it holds three cased games, 4 AA batteries, manuals as well as the two white plastic risers on the right side that elevate the DMG so there is room for the manuals. Because of these risers, you cannot store the DMG with a game in it. Also note that the serial number on the back of the case matches that of the one on the DMG. Original purchase date! That's just neat.

So I don't know if this is well known, but I certainly couldn't find anything about it. Anyone know anything about this?

Mountainhead, I have a HandyPack light if you're interested. Here it is:

It doesn't have the power adapter to plug into a wall, but the crazy battery terminal thing (bottom left) works just fine.
I'm open to trades, offers or whatever.

I loled.

Two awesome uses of Huzzah come to mind immediately
1: Balrog in Cave Story.
2: Mermaid Man in Spongebob.

Call me childish for watching spongebob, but that show is hilarious.
