Topic: DMG Power Board gets hot (2 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I've noticed that the left side of my dmg gets hot during use. It's noticeably hot after ~5 mins of use, and after ~30 mins I'm worried that my DMG is going to melt. Has anyone else noticed anything similar to this, and if so, what did you do to remedy it?

Actually, now that I think about it, eSATA may be better. More robust connector designed for repeated plugging and unplugging.

Yes using a different connector will work. You'll see a 'tacoMIDI' mod that uses a 3.5mm jack for midi sync. This mod is doing exactly what you're saying. I've had this discussion before and mini usb was brought up. The issue there is there's not really usb-mini to usb-mini cables around. I also thought of a sata port, that may fit well and have enough connections.

Kind of funny, a few years back I made a version of an Aquabats song using that program and posted it to their forums. Some guy responded saying "You know people actually make music with old nintendos." He pointed me to Anamanaguchi's fast turtle, and I've been here ever since.
