so who else is still going? ive got rough versions of my first 8 tracks done & recorded (though the structure on one track is still feeling really weird)

Everything sort of clicked last night and I'm pretty sure I've now have the tracklist, need to do lots of stuff still. I'm kinda excited about this now, its like a combination of my two previous albums with some awkward guitar playing here and there:) Weird combination of styles but hopefully will end up feeling like an album. That was my biggest worry that it will be just bunch of random songs.

Really digging Nanoloop for iPhone, that pretty much tied everything together. Now I need to add some of those lovely FM-sounds to some songs and then add some dirrrrty samples to others to balance everything.

I got my pen ready

I once lost my DS stylus edit: (during the set) and finished the gig with a plastic fork with some kebap on it. True story.

This is a stretch but is there any rappers here? Looking for someone who does Anticon-type of more abstract flow.

RPM is looking pretty good this far, I have several ideas and demos written down!

The artwork is part of a series that Heikki has made for my chipmusic releases. Here is the artwork for the first EP to illustrate just how talented he is.

Aww thanks man!

I seriously appreciate your words and you we're a joy to work with!

Everybody should listen these two, The Waves, The Sea is really good, I can hear some postrock influences definetely there.

I got the Stylophone Beatbox, I dont know if I ever make beats with it but the looping / sampling is rad because it gets all fucked up couple of overdubs!

So this is what I came up with (for now). I'm planning to add 4bitsynth to this too.

Mp3:
http://soundcloud.com/dkstr/mantra-test

Mantra is Pure Data based 8 step sequencer combined to Arduino based synth.
Sequencer has:
-One synth channel
-One gated channel of same synth
-Bass generator that gets the pitch from the synth
-3 Drum channels
-Arpeggio-like channel
-In addition one synth is routed to Ableton Live to create ambience

Synth is based on Auduino.

You can use this one too if you want http://8bc.org/music/dkstr/Have+Yoursel … Christmas/

Go Nordloooef!
