Even though your pixels might be a little out of place here and there, this is super awesome. Great work bro smile

Thank you, mr. pixel keisari!

A gig poster for steampunk band called Royal Highness, they have badass steampowered modular synth organ which requires 3 players and two church bells that have more cogwheels than you need. Oh and it was just a considence, but I think Octaviosilver plays the other bell and Huoratron the other one.

I admit, my palette usage was superduperlazy, sorry, as I said, havent done pixels in years! I know I have still hours left but I think I dont have any more time to do this, so I leave it this way. Thanks for Keff for some tips!

I try to post my challenge in couple of hours!

edit: I straightened couple of lines;) AND I saved the palette as .jpg, so it's little bit off, but there's 8 color on it!

Solid album, liked most about ending (Everything Is Gone, Joke's On You and If Your LIfe Had A Face"!

Your bandcamp says there's nothing!

Description sounds cool, I would like to check this out.

Yeaah, things are moving nicely! I havent been doing pixels for years, didnt remember it's so fun AND frustrating at the same time haha:) Anyway, I'm gonna up my work later today.

i challenge DKSTR to create a depiction of a cyberpunk band playing steampunk influenced instruments, using a limited palette of 8 colors you deem fit. be sure to show your colors upon submission. there are no other restrictions, have fun! big_smile

It's on, DKSTR accepts.

Luckily I've been playing tons of Borderlands during weekend so steampunk is kinda all I see at the moment:D

Finland has snow and booze. Sometimes sauna too.

Summers are fun because there is little bit less snow and more booze! And sauna too.

I love this city (Turku) during summer but hate it during winter, because often it's just grey, dark and wet.

Oh and I'm thinking about moving too (aka going back to school), maybe to Brisbane, how is it Australian folks?

RIP sad

I really liked that Dark Night Of The Soul album and always had intention to listen more Sparklehorse, kinda same thing happened for me with Jay Reatard earlier this year.

Gotta bumb this, one of my favourites that I have listened this year! Bouncing is supersupercatchy.

Oh, Beneath A Steel Sky

And Dreamweb (game looks like shit but had a really cool athmosphere)
+ I remember the sexscene where you rush to the (hotel?)room and kill this guy:

Another World is seriously a game that hasnt lost any of it's graphical shine over the years. Absolutely beautiful.

hobby.

I kept music in general my hobby, because it's my favorite creative activity.

I took my second favorite (coding) as a job. Best decision in my life, because I'd hate to loose music as something recreational.

This pretty much sums it up for me too. I just have to replace coding with visual arts but yeah, I rarely do drawing or stuff like that outside my job. Thats kinda how it started when I got in to my first art school, I started doing music because I wanted to do something creative but absolutely hated to pick up a pen or photoshop outside classes.

Ok finally got around to listen these all!

Whole JCALU6, it's badass! Daily Doser is pretty good all around too and tracks 3,4 and 5 on Spasm are probably my favourites from this whole bunch, they just fuck shit up! I think I'm gonna play these tomorrow when I DJ. Taste The Beat sounded solid too, just not really my style of stuff, gotta listen more!

Good job man!
