Also might want to go for @8bitpowerhour rather than #8bitpowerhour!

FX4 blatantly needs to be added to this. Along with FX3FX2 and FX1 of course!

I make games. Some of them are good, but they're mostly not good.

Lets just tack on new songs to the album 2.5 months after release.  YAY

I was hoping you'd do something like this after hearing your MAGFest performance. The track is pretty different from what I expected, but it sure doesn't disappoint.

There seems to be some background noise though, most noticeable when it cuts out completely at 2:24. Maybe you intended this, but it sounds weird to me. There's also a weird spike in the left channel about 0.7854 seconds into the MP3 I downloaded. Could be a Bandcamp MP3 compression glitch (I hear those happen sometimes very rarely) or it could be an issue on your end.

Hey... are you going to take on the FX3 Arrange Album now? You can tell me.

One time I met a girl at a party and was looking at her Ipod.

"Oh you have Armcannon on there!"

her - "yeah I just bought it off some russian site for a dollar just yesterday"

"I'm in that band"

Let's just say I had the upper hand, got her number, and was going out with her a week later.  So uh, russian sites can't be that bad, they get me laid"

What a beautiful story.

Sounds fun!

According to the Alex Mauer one, ice cream is served in bottles.

So are eggs:

Fits nicely with the music video for Breakfast.

I also recommend it! Be sure to check into the chatroom while it's playing, too. Jeroen Tel was this week's surprise guest.

In addition to Wizball and Flash Gordon in that Hrvatski track, am I hearing Arkanoid and MSSIAH drum samples?

beck too, right?  i think i recall something chippy he did last year maybe...  i don't care for beck, so forgot quick...

Yeah, this.

Primitive waveforms seem pretty big in pop and dance music at moment. My theory is it's because they can clip with very little noticeable difference (pulse waves can go to 0 dBFS without sounding different) providing artillery for the loudness war. The first 25 seconds of TiK ToK's backing track are basically chipmusic as are a few of the later synths, though it's not for loudness reasons here so maybe it's caught on for aesthetic reasons by now?

Just saying, The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (here in Melbourne) will have an exhibition on the Best of the Independent Games Festival 2011 on Dec - March which may interest a bunch of you http://l.gamespot.com/sRGhGS

I'm interested! Thanks for letting me know. It will be nice to finally play Nidhogg, that game is pretty elusive. Too bad I'll miss the subsequent Best of the Independent Games Festival 2012 as I'm hoping I'll feature in that...

The first two tracks on this are some of the best DS-10 tracks I've ever heard. I also like how the later tracks embrace the unique aspects of the DS-10 sound.

Also, perhaps you should change "released 07 November 2011" in your original post...

Enjoyable!
