Bought it! Of course, I bought Impostor Nostalgia first as virt requested, along with Zeta Force which I've been meaning to purchase for too long now. Enjoy my money, artists of Ubiktune! :U

Oh, and thanks everyone for not leaking the radio versions of these tracks so I can enjoy the source files. I noticed OverCoat said "awwwright" over the intros of both chiptune versions that were played, which was pretty good leak-proofing.

Bought my copy. This is excellent stuff, man! I love the subdued demoscene vibe that I'm getting from all these arpeggiators. Feels good to support NZ chipmusic!

I wanna do the album art for your next release. If I did anything, it would probably be minimalist pixel art roughly in the style of this pixel doodle I drew the other day. Let me know if you're interested.

Just a note that Team Soundbytes will be hosting/curating the afterparty (and are actually quite excited about SoundBytes going global!!).

You are making me so tempted to go to Japan again. So very tempted.

I still want you to cover "Pants" by Randy Newman.

And "Short People"!

not sure i understand the need for licensing, i don't think anyone would go after you if you put this out for free. i'm guessing Nullsleep didn't have any problems with his Depeche Mode MegaMix. how many cover albums have been done in the community already, with no backlash?

Da Chip is an example of a free chipmusic tribute album that got hit with a cease and desist. While NIN would probably be less likely to do such a thing, I find it a little strange that you're arguing against a legitimate release in favour of one that is technically illegal.

The '???' in the thread title is kind of confusing since that's the name of another artist likely to release stuff here...

But anyway, this is a great release. I encourage you to keep high-speed composing! Some of my favourite songs were made in an hour by Virt.

There sure are some fantastic ideas here.

Kay. Will do. Lemme obtain a free evening to flop together some laughably quick artwork and throw it onto archive.org.

Did this happen? I believe you have until April 5 for the official remix album to come out, though it seems to have leaked already.

This release is really something! Hope to hear a lot more from you.

Great album! But I must know... why does Constellations cut out at the end?

Japanese synthesiser band Cosmos from page one sounds great. Where can I find their music, though?

You guys crack me up... and I'm sorry to break the mould by offering actual feedback.

Shantae'esque is great, I even like parts of it better than the original. Station does things I had no idea were possible with WarioWare DIY. In all, I'm really happy to be featured on this compilation...

I really like that cover art. I look forward to hearing what tracks others have made for this!

Aucklander reporting in. I am into chiptunes. I'm not much of a musician, so I haven't released anything, though that is due to change in a small way shortly.

I'm friends with someone who is attempting to organise a chipmusic gig here, I'm guessing most of you would have been contacted by her. I look forward to it eventually all coming together!

Also, first post. Only time will tell how active I will be here...
